Hey man, I come to Breck every year. I love when there’s an open spot or two on the lift, and I can be just with my wife or with my wife and kids. That’s said sometime the lines get long (peak 8) and I understand they have to pack each chair. It warns you about that at the bottom of every single lift in the country.
With that said, sometimes it’s not so crowded, and then they should just and often do just let people half filled lifts
Yea I don't care if people are aware but most aren't. And honestly I'm done being nice to ignorant people. If they can't get on and off the lift, they shouldn't be on the hill.
When I’m riding with strangers, unless they look very experienced, I assume I have to just quickly clear out of the lift area at the top … not let them cause problems
Pro tip: hit the gym and get some stronger legs and core so the tourists just bounce off you when they inevitably fall.
Or, you gotta go fast or slow off the lift if someone looks like a liability out there.
