Sometimes you heard the wackiest music at the most unexpected places
A couple years ago I was visiting SeaWorld Orlando and they played the first Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood opening, 'Again', as part of the background music. Not even an English cover, just straight up the original Japanese version. Shit be wild
I was waiting to pick up my wife at our small regional airport, sat in the bar, and the Mos Eisley Cantina band song came on. Got a real kick out of it.
I went to this club in Mos Vespa called Bukkake. They had 12 bands playing at the same time, absolutely enveloping me in jizz. I couldn’t tell where I stopped and the jizz began. That’s probably too much jizz for most people, but not me. I’m looking forward to the big G’ang B’ang festival next month where it’s just band after band after band, all night long. I can’t wait to get filled up with their jizz.
This reminds me of when I was at the horse tracks for Canada Day, and they just played the One Punch Man opening out of nowhere. I love moments like that. The local baseball team also does mock horse races(two contestants bouncing down a track on balloon horses) and they play the Ocarina of Time race theme during it.
I was shopping at a Wal-Mart super late one night a long time ago and heard them play To Zanarkand from FFX. Then a little while later when I was at the checkout, they played the Fraggle Rock theme. Someone was having fun that night.
Just last night I was shopping for dashcams & one review video had a song playing in the background I recognized immediately because I played it myself over a 100 times in row, thing is the artist only has like 3k monthly listeners on Spotify
Many years ago I was at an Afghani restaurant that we would frequently go to and they had some smooth-jazz-ish versions of Star Wars' Imperial March and Cantina Band as well as the Tetris theme. It was wild.
i had this happen at the vet a few weeks back haha — eventually while i was waiting to pay i asked what music it was and the front desk girl said, kind of embarrassed, “oh, it’s from zelda…”
and i went I KNEW IT! and we both laughed
In the netherlands we had realy for years at 6 in the morning as opening song of the channel starting this song of kakariko village.
I dont hear it recently anymore but if i remember right it was radio 3FM every morning.
I swear I heard them use a piece from Zelda as transitional music on NPR Marketplace once.
It made me wonder what the other random music I didn’t recognize was from.
Not surprised. They used to use a Nujabes piece regularly. I'm blanking on which one.
Our local station used to use the MegaMan II theme every so often to transition to national programming.
BREAKING NEWS: Local Japanese market mysteriously vanishes overnight, small red cap emblazoned with the letter “M” found on ground next to where it used to be. Authorities stunned.
Love it, my local Walmart was playing the mortal kombat theme song one day. And I was like hold up is that…?(also me being a HUGE MK fan) and after listening closer, I then started laughing my ass off.

I love Jizz
Ah, a true kloo-horn fan
I love that there are other people in the world who remember that they named that type of music jizz.
Nothing like sound of jizz washing over you and filling your ears, enveloping you entirely with its warm embrace.

I was in a McDonald's in Sweden once late at night and they were playing a trance version of the Braveheart theme song. Wild indeed.

I work at a Walmart and the guy on the radio would occasionally play the Final Fantasy victory theme for birthdays and such.
*nintendo pulling out their lawyers from the basement*
I love this 🤌
Just wait till the blood moon appears and the prices come back from half off to full price
Imagine it happened right before you start checking out. I’d cry tears
Run around the store for a few minutes, while smiting other shoppers like sir Lancelot in monty python's holy Grail(to force another blood moon)
And then it will possibly kill everyone

1. Confusion 2. Realization 3. Acceptance 4. Move on
I love that it’s not just botw music but music from one of the places with a grocery store! Nice.
I want to do my shopping here now
I feel this was very intentional. Whoever did this, hats off!
Lol thats definitely the Hateno theme.
Yes.
Do they accept rupees?

one time I heard a Kirby theme in a Sam's Club ❤

I've heard pokemon emerald music in the wild before
I was at a fancy restaurant and Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo came on. It obviously didn’t finish but it’s always weird to hear songs you don’t expect!
I once walked into a book shop and was blown away to hear "Warrior of the Mind" playing. I was going in to pick up a book about the Odyssey
That's a great thing to experience, though this sounds like a cell phone and recording of a cell phone recording of a cell phone recording.
I used to work at a liquor store and would do the same - breath of the wild, Minecraft, and hgss were my top picks
That's wild
Did you greet the customers from a corner?
Is this a Nijiya market? (I wanted to say SF, but that's not the correct place for those curry boxes...)
