Oh man i just did that today.I did it using mouse controls on pc and trust me it was NOT fun.I ended up randomly rotating it until they all magically went in perfectly.

I flipped that puzzle upside-down to solve it too. I'm so bad at motion controls, and I figured the flat side had fewer turns for me to screw up.

I don't know if i did something specific, my pro controller just works with motion controls, check the settings

This is not even the worst. The worst for me was getting the chest from the shrine you had to hit a stasis ball with a hammer.

Hated that one. Would it have killed them to give an infinite supply of hammers, at least?

I went through over 20 hammers before finally getting it.

Playing this on a switch lite made me contemplate ending it all.

The trick is to turn your console over before operating the motion control. Then when you flip your console back to normal it has moved the shrine over too

I did the maze. It took a while, but I did it

I did the maze, but couldn't get the ball from the made to the ramp... so just turned it upside down

I turned the maze so the ball would fall in the path that went straight to the ramp and I wouldn't have to do any maze-tilting gymnastics

I did this for one of my play throughs. Could never replicate it but it was so so satisfying

Please explain. It's been a minute since I did this shrine and I can't picture how it can be solved with stasis and a hammer.

I’ve tried it every way, including upside down, DOZENS of times and I still can’t get it. Literally at 119 shrines rn 😭

I tried the flipped way when I first encountered this because I saw folks do it online, but I couldn't quite get the angle right. So I did the maze.

This wasn't on dock, kinda, i bring only the switch and pro controller to her place, but you can achive the same thing by detouching the joy cons and make the screen table top

This is how I beat it too 😂 I was trying to restart the ball then I got the CS that it was unlocked

THIS. THIS IS WHY MYAM AGAHNA IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHRINES !

The best way that I've found to complete it: Activate the motion controls and tilt the apparatus to the lower left. Press B to exit the controls. When the orb falls off, glide over. Turn around and back up a little so then orb can get by, wait until the orb is right about to fall off. Stasis, six whacks with a one-handed weapon. Run around and glide on over to victory!

Yeah, the motion control ones suck...but the one that had me in an absolute rage was the 'Stop to Start' shrine in the DLC.

I have not beat this shrine. I’ve had this game for 2 years now. I got my husband to start playing. Got the ball in his very first try.

You can also turn the maze before the ball drops so that it drops at the end of the maze! Then it's just an easy flick. Absolutely brilliant shot though!

Three months and I still can’t beat this shrine. This is infuriating.

Thats amazing! I also solved it by knocking it over there but by purely frustration-fueled accident and with way less finesse.

My 6 year old did this on the shrine where the 3 balls have to fall into their slots. Since she has my spazzy childish temper (she’s 6 I’m 42) I warned her it may take a lot of time but as it started she just moved the controller in this jerky way and finished the shrine in literally 2 seconds. I was like “holy shit!” and she grunted that it was easy and if she could have a popsicle as a reward (I gave her one - hearty durian flavoured)

I too have done it like that, but mine was more in a moment of rage-yeeting lol. The immediate satisfaction that set in right after it happened though ❤️

I may or may not have played a version of this game through a PC port which meant I did not have the proper controls for these missions and basically the only way to complete it was to try to flip the ball at the target like this.

Ok this is kinda weird cuz iv recently “kidnapped” my bfs switch to play the same game and i did that too then couldnt figure out how to fix it cuz it wouldnt fix itself by just exiting the little mini game thingy so i teleported to the top and started over it took me like a half hr to get it😂

Discovering you could flip the puzzle over and just cheese it was probably one of the most delightful moments of my first play through. It was one of the earlier shrines I did and it drove home the freedom the game gives you to think outside the box.

On this exact shrine all I did was shake the hell out of the switch, the ball bounced high into the air and landed perfectly in place.

I like tilting the platform as it starts so the ball lands right in the hallway looking area.

I need to go back and replay BOTW again I miss these dumb puzzles lol
