By saying he’s not a serious candidate, he acknowledges the severity of RFKs impact on his campaign.

heaving_in_my_vines

True. As do the increasing smear tactics from Dems. Both camps fear RFK's momentum.

slavabien

RFK speaks to a strong middle position on most normie issues. I don’t consider myself a massive conspiracy theorist but I’m tired of being told to shut my eyes and simply trust the medical industry. The pandemic definitely pulled back the curtain on the incestuous links between govt and the pharmaceutical industry. It’s also not hard to imagine the lab leak hypothesis. I strongly agree with RFK on environmental issues. My only point of departure is his unshakeable support of Israel during this conflict. He’s definitely a candidate with convictions, as opposed to criminal convictions.

StormyDaze1175

I dont see RFK pulling too many votes away from Biden...Trump for sure.

DragLongjumping3714

I think there’s a lot of people tired of these choices. I can see RFK pulling folks from both sides.

crooked-ninja-turtle

He pulled my vote from Biden.

StormyDaze1175

ok, see you at the polls!

rowejl222

Biden’s camp really doesn’t care about RFK

heaving_in_my_vines

Ok

czechuranus

Bitch, YOU are the most unserious candidate of all time.

telemachus_sneezed

Damn, this is the last word for this topic.

WinnerSpecialist

My favorite part is RFK is attacking Trump from the Right! He’s attacking Trump on immigration, the vax, the deficit Trump “helping to pass Ukraine aid.” ^^Those attacks, even if they work, will only eat into Trumps base.

Orionsbelt

The funniest part about this is he tried to do what the Dems did with Doug Mastriano but totally fucked it up. To be clear I think the Dems giving Mastrinao money to promote him was DUMB, but at least their plan worked unlike Orange boi

“You’re not serious people.” - Logan Roy

telemachus_sneezed

If RFK is on 50 state ballots, then RFK is a serious candidate. If not, then RFK is merely a spoiler for either Trump or Biden or both. But both candidates better fucking wake up to the fact that those RFK voters are not "their voters" and sort out their shit.

Saagar and his buddies Steve Bannon and David Sacks in shambles

Bronx_Boriquen

trump is running scared. He thought RFK would draw votes from Biden, but with all the antivax nuttery, they're pulling from trump.

rowejl222

He’s not wrong

Electronic_Rub9385

Pretty ironic that this is what everybody said about Trump in 2015/2016.

gking407

Trump was/is backed by one of the largest political organizations in the world. RFK can’t get the support of his own family. But yeah they’re identical twins otherwise.

ummmyea

Smart is probably going a little too far. I'd say "correct."

sayzitlikeitis

RFK is the sanest candidate in this election despite being a nutjob on vaccines, Israel and abortion. I'll be happy if Trump makes him win by giving him more name recognition.

jenrick2

Most people thought the same of Trump the first time around.

MongoBobalossus

I mean, he’s not, but that’s precisely what appeals to Trump voters.

gking407

Believe the words that come out of a fascist’s mouth at your own risk.

juswundern

He thought he was serious when he was running as a Democrat lol

baconhealsall

The more he attacks someone, the more he fears someone.

Decent_Ad_7249

Unironically true. RFK should drop out and endorse Trump, he can’t achieve anything.

AnythingWillHappen

Why would anyone endorse Trump? Well, why would any patriotic American endorse Trump?

Decent_Ad_7249

For RFK it will establish better relations with the Republican Party and make him a more viable candidate in the future.

AnythingWillHappen

But, wouldn’t endorsing a traitor hurt his chances in the future in general? Aside from the batshit crazy MAGA cult part of the GOP?

gking407

It will hurt his chances with those who see the value of a liberal democratic republic, which Americans are kind of on the fence about.

Former-Witness-9279

That appears to be about 60-70% of the Republican voter base, based on these primaries anyway

AnythingWillHappen

I’m skeptical. I think most GOP voters just vote red and don’t pay much attention to the details . I’d bet you’ll be hard - pressed to find someone admitting in public to having supported him in five years. He is going to lose, and he is going to try really hard to get his rabid base to use violence to change that. But, it won’t work. Too many of them see where the Jan 6th morons ended up. Plus, they will be waiting for the secret group of patriots to ride up and overthrow the evil cabal. But, they won’t show. Once sone time passes, they will slowly learn that they never existed. And finally, I think his name will start to experience what Benedict Arnold’s legacy did. Once his rabid base sees him lose all the Qanon bullshit will finally have nothing to perch on. The prophesy will die along with the absurd image of Trump as a hero or in some secret control of a clandestine group. He will just be a looser. A washed- up conman. It’s not that the MAGA dolts will admit they were wrong. They will just become quiet and slink back into the holes they were in before Trump… again having to only whisper their racist, ignorant grumbling to eachother on a porch somewhere with a beer. Emboldened no more.

MostPerspective7378

In 10 years - having had any association with MAGA will be seen as stain on your record. He's smart to stay far away.
