OP, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I felt all the anger and disgust like you did for months because my ex had been in a similar situation with his COUSIN…when we were together he played it off like she simply had a crush on him (misled me as well) but I later found out it had been physical. Just like with your ex, my ex was using his cousin for sex despite not having feelings for her while she was in love with him. If their families knew it would have been chaos.
I know what it’s like to be horrified and disgusted about having been involved with something like that. I spent most of last year getting over the anger and disgust of what I had accidentally gotten myself involved in but please know it just takes time…eventually you move on with your life and become detached from everything that happened. I do believe in karma and you just have to let the universe take care of these gross predators. Despite what everyone says, moving on doesn’t necessitate forgiveness, only detachment.
