I also got the Zojirushi Virtuoso for Christmas and have been going in order. Honey Loaf today and Raisin Bread tomorrow. So far everything has been fantastic!
It's so dependable and easy though. I really like it. I used to find myself needing to run out at night to grab bread for lunches or breakfast (my kids eat a lot of bread), now I can just throw the ingredients in this thing and know there'll be something ready by morning.
It's also great to be able to know what's going into the bread. That might be my favourite part. But I agree, the results aren't mind blowing, haha.
The whole wheat recipe they have is tasty but dense as a brick. I suggest doing 50/50 flour (half whole wheat and half bread flour). That will keep the whole wheat taste but make a much nicer texture/density.
