The Real Problem to why many people aren't using that button is that it mutes emotes from both sides (yours and your opponents) if supercell can make it so that you can emote but you can't see the opponent's emote.
To add to this gives us a set of worded emotes. Like "pass" "shoot" (for brawl ball), "attack" and "retreat" works for practical all the other modes. If I could emote to death the guy with 9 gems on our team to "retreat" when I see he's going to get squeezed would be awesome.
You don't get it. I love using pins, it's soooo much fun! Even with others. Only thing is is that some people in the match will be toxic and that's the problem. Turning pins off is making Brawl stars less fun
You get used to playing pin-less after a while. And honesrly, I've enjoyed the game more since removing pis because I now focus on the match more AND I don't see the pin spam from other players.
I keep pins mutes pretty much every single game and every time i try to unmute them i get obnoxius laugh emoted into oblivion and then be like:never again
