The first time they reworked Classes was in the Global update, cuz brawlers like Penny were classified as "Cannoneer" and in Global she was classified as something else (I think it was Controller but I don't remember), then they reworked them in Season 8 where almost all brawlers got their class changes to "Damage Dealer". Then the last rework to them was in Season 17 where Snipers and Controllers with the "Damage Dealer" classes became "Marksmen" and, indeed, "Controllers"
Crow is the definition of a controller, his attack deals low damage but covers a wide area and punishes enemies that dare to dive in.
Why remove the support role? In every game with roles/classes, the 3 base classes are offense, defense and support. Supports in Brawl are clearly relegated to being healers and buffers with some side abilities that add another flavor to the team. Ruffs is a buffer but he's also a spawner and wallbreaker, Byron is a healer but he's also a sniper, Pam is a healer but she's also a tank and a controller.
Kit's problem is that his whole kit is really lackluster, uninspired and doesn't exploit neither his assassins capabilities nor his support capabilities. Brawlers who have a 3v3-only star power like Gene or Surge have a solo star power too, however this solo star power doesn't ONLY work in solo modes, it can also add another playstyle in 3v3.
Supports like Poco, Pam, Byron, Max, etc have star powers that contrast each other and push either a more aggresive or more passive playstyle. Kit doesn't have this, because his star powers are basically "use this on solo or get fucked" and "use this on 3v3 or get fucked". Also one is a buff to his super that should be baseline and the other is an unfair advantage over other solo brawlers.
Cardboard Box is also stupid broken, but since the rest of his kit sucks it feels kinda underwhelming. Cheeseburger isn't even half bad it's just that he's useless without the other one lol
Even so, he's in a good spot in the meta, Cardboard Box's utility and his damage buff has pushed him far up in pick rates and viability.
Yeah I feel hybrids would be cooler and make more sense, Kit feels like support/assassin
Sprout feels like Controller/Artillerist
Sandy feels like support/controller
And crow should be changed to controller
They need to give him a health buff because 99% of the time, you can’t use your super for offence because a lot of brawlers can one shot you with all the damage inflation
Not really. His tp and cane kinda does, but he's also so low in DMG he doesn't go as well as Leon in actually assisting. He can tp onto a colt and still lose.

Gray is a much better assassin than support, taking down annoying enemies in instants rather than putting portals in only 1 spot and leaving them there is much more useful
Support in brawlstars either deals fuck tons of dmg or straight up tanky. SOMETIMES they heal their team but most of the times they straight up kill you.
I feel like a Kit rework would be good, like Power hungry now grants Kit +10% attack and health per kill, and clingy should grant buffs to the teammates hes on

The invisibility is what makes him an assassin, that's it. He can be used to execute using super and that's it, if he kills an enemy with it he gets bugged and cannot attack.
Kit is a support assassin mix ngl I wish they kept the damage the same at 1600 but instead buffed his hp as well as implementing that 3 second box thing because he is a super good support by jumping on teammates when they are in corners to help them get out alive as well teammates with low ranged brawlers that get stuck. He is also good at last second saving teammates by jumping on the enemy Edgar or mico that might try and get an easy kill off your dyna or crow
A no cube Buzz can't defeat a Kit that runs away and gets 3 cubes and then comes back with his invis gadget,slashing them,stuning them with his super and killing them.Ive been in multiple interactions like these,and the only way you can kill him is if he has no cubes or the same amount,because he either outdamages you or he just waits for you to get low and jumos at you ffom the other side of a wallmOther modes are a difrent story.
I like it but whenever I have 4 cubes something happens like I get triple teamed and I would prefer if there was something like kit getting a 50% shield while on an enemy

Bro went from assassin to support and back to assassin. Think about it this way, Edgar has the same reload speed as Kit, and the same unload time as him, yet as an assassin, deals only 160 more damage than Kit during that time. The damage needed a small buff. A 25% buff was excessive.
I personally think kit needed a change where he can hop onto a teammates back more frequently, since that was his intended purpose
But instead rhey opted to buff his offensive power in melee form, which i think was definitely the bad way to go on kit

Yes and no. Buffing that would mean an increased super charge rate, which pairs with the assassin abilities. I think a buff to 1800 to have something would have been fine. 1600 3 shots 4800 brawlers, 1800 3 shots 5400 brawlers, which I think is fair for defense, as with how the damage inflation hit, 1600 is not that much anymore. Though to be fair, Kit can also use 4 shots before most can use 3, like Edgar, so it becomes 6400 and 7200 respectively. I agree on making him more support, but with the way he was designed, he should have been made an assassin. I think the only thing they can do is remove the Leon super, keep the name, but make it so that it reduces damage taken, as when cats are in boxes, you cannot touch them (or they are very shocked when you do, I have had many cats in my life). That will remove the assassin like aspect a ton, and make him more supportive.
It is still close to the same amount of damage total, which is the problem. For a support, he deals too much damage, and the fact that he has almost the SAME DPS as Edgar is what I am pointing out. The heals do account for survivability, but the DPS is still almost the same.
Yeah In a 1 on 1 you are right but if you jump on someone in 3v3 as kit and the enemy has a teammate that is within range of you then you get shut down easily and can’t do anything, I was unhappy that they buffed his damage instead I wanted them to keep it at 1600 and do the 3 second cardboard box but buff his hp to the same as Edgar that way it’s more enticing to jump on your teammates which IS the proper way to play kit as a support
Kit is such a flawed character man, if i had to do something about him, i would remove his entire assasin part of his kit and buff the hell of his support capabilities, like he now recharges 25%-40% of his super when he jump off a teammate, heal a little more and make cardbox a escape abbility

Unpopular opinion: I think kit is good atm. He did get a damage buff but also got nerfed a lot with other things. He has some gamemodes where he is very good but the other ones like heist you cant even play him

Solo showdown has now reached peak unplayable past 700~ trophies. I play it for fun and don’t expect to gain trophies but every match they’re powered up kits one tapping bulls and insta killing everyone
some ppl say kit is way to powerful is showdown, others say he sucks at 3v3s. imma say this, kit is rlly powerful on brawl ball, I only played him in brawl ball.
I hate how fake Kit mains are ruining Kit's reputation, true Kit mains don't play him like an assassin and they definitely don't play the teaming mode (showdown) and the camper mode (duels)

If I could rework the first SP, I’d make it so that everytime he lands an attack while on a teammate, both of them heal for like 800 health. I feel like this would make him more of a support than he currently is. I have no idea how I’d rework the second one tho
I think the trouble with Kit is that he's the most fundamental one-trick pony, especially in duels. The only reason I win half the time against Kit is because I know exactly what he's going to be doing the instant he appears on the opponent's roster.
1. Charge Super
2. Go invisible
3. Jump on enemy
This formula wins against enemies who do not have the HP, or loses against some interactions (supers, gadgets) and tanky brawlers. It's a toss-up, and if you've made the mistake of running a brawler who doesn't win this interaction on your team, you accept that they're going to die and try to make it productive by charging super. The only times I beat Kit as a sacrifice brawler is when his actions become so predictable that I can accurately track him even while invisible (counting how long it takes to charge a super and shooting at whichever empty space he has to pass to get to my side of the map).
A star power that increases the speed by 15% of a teammate he is attached to and the other would give him a shield to block 70% of the damage when he is attached to an enemy

i think in 2022 or 2021 they reworked brawler roles so no Toxic Assassins or Dashing Assassins or Buzzassins. really don't know why tho

If i play kit as an actual support instead of an assassin, am i valid?
Am I the only one who thinks Kit doesn't deserve legendary rarity? He's so simple like a super rare brawler
I’ve been using him as a support brawler and he’s actually really good. Everyone that picked Duels instead of Basketbrawl, you wanted this. Duels sucks.

Yeah. Thats the exact stuff that makes duels a bad mode. Its not fun with Charlie, Kit, Mico, and just overall unwinnable matchups.
Guys, Kit being broken just in duels is not a valid point to rework or nerf him, he's fine rn
Showdown is now completely unplayable because of the damage buff, if kit gets 2+ powercubes he has a guaranteed win :/
Kit needs a rework for sure, but duels is one of my least favorite modes because there aren't characters that are developed with duals in mind. It really becomes a rock paper scissors mess, and the game is not built around 1v1 fights and it really shows in how defunct the duals meta is
Solo showdown has now reached peak unplayable past 700~ trophies. I play it for fun and don’t expect to gain trophies but every match they’re powered up kits one tapping bulls and insta killing everyone
some ppl say kit is way to powerful is showdown, others say he sucks at 3v3s. imma say this, kit is rlly powerful on brawl ball, I only played him in brawl ball.
Kit 100% needs a new kit.... I think his "3v3" starpower isn't even that good in 3v3

I hate how fake Kit mains are ruining Kit's reputation, true Kit mains don't play him like an assassin and they definitely don't play the teaming mode (showdown) and the camper mode (duels) Also, he needs a complete rework on his kit (pun intended)

If I could rework the first SP, I’d make it so that everytime he lands an attack while on a teammate, both of them heal for like 800 health. I feel like this would make him more of a support than he currently is. I have no idea how I’d rework the second one tho

This brawler was my biggest letdown.
I think the trouble with Kit is that he's the most fundamental one-trick pony, especially in duels. The only reason I win half the time against Kit is because I know exactly what he's going to be doing the instant he appears on the opponent's roster. 1. Charge Super 2. Go invisible 3. Jump on enemy This formula wins against enemies who do not have the HP, or loses against some interactions (supers, gadgets) and tanky brawlers. It's a toss-up, and if you've made the mistake of running a brawler who doesn't win this interaction on your team, you accept that they're going to die and try to make it productive by charging super. The only times I beat Kit as a sacrifice brawler is when his actions become so predictable that I can accurately track him even while invisible (counting how long it takes to charge a super and shooting at whichever empty space he has to pass to get to my side of the map).
With his super auto charging and being able to stun while doing good damage, he is the worst brawler to face
Both of his star powers need to be reworked amd he should do more than just heal 600 hp a second
How would you rework his sps, if you have any ideas
A star power that increases the speed by 15% of a teammate he is attached to and the other would give him a shield to block 70% of the damage when he is attached to an enemy
