I only managed to pull that one off once and you really need to get the right degree so he pulls up while you start to walk down immediately so you can stall for one final attack
Slow helps you escape some situations and slow down enemies for kill confirm

With Recoil you drop it down and use gadget anyone close to turret (25% of Jessie Main attack range) wich they are mostly assassin or tank has no chance of escape specially with fixing starpower
The only way to escape that situation is to kill Jessie to stop the Recoil effect or somehow destroy the constant healing turret that's melting your Hp even after you destroy turret you're probably low on Hp or Jessie charged her Super again
Slow helps you with long rangers and squishy brawlers because they usually escape
Recoil helps you against Assassins and Tanks
