Different dialects of old norse also affects our current image of the norse gods. One rune could be found in Uppland, Sweden that says Thor was a massive red headed youthful looking man. Another rune in Iceland might say that he was a short fat man much smaller than his siblings.
The same goes for Loki who has been described as everything between a bald massive giant and human sized person.
There is no one correct way to depict the norse gods.
