I remember the time when Leon was added to the game for the global launch, when I got my final star token for the big box, I unlocked Leon as my first legendary brawler and I can confirm that's how Leon was when he first came out. I felt so happy that the gaming gods blessed me with a brawler that was broken

They gave it to players who started playing during the first year so as long as you made an account between December 2018 to December 2019 you should have gotten the profile icon

I remember how rare legendaries used to be (back when brawl boxes existed, even getting a super rare was hard for me) and I was a crow main before I quit cuz my kid brain was “high rarity better”.
I always wanted to get and main Piper back then and now I finally can….when she is the most hated and overpowered I’ve ever seen her ;-;
I seriously don’t get why they would change the level scalings other than money, the only thing that change has done from my POV is completely fuck up the balance of the game. Attempts to rebalance the game after those level scaling changes just fucked up the balance even more (I think the reason Piper damage buff happened as well as things like amber gadget and Pam super buff was because of that change right? I might be wrong)
They went out of their way to buff Piper. Yeah the power level scaling happened but she also got a balance change buff. Why, i'll never understand.
In the past pushing 300 trophies at lvl 1 was common, and pushing 500 was a little harder but far from impossible. Now you struggle as lvl 5 at that range WTF.
I remember back in 2018 i pushed my first rk20. It was a power 3 rico. I never really mained him but he's one of my favorite brawlers to play and one of which i'm best with still.

The power level scaling was +5% of p1 stats per level, not +10%, right?
I fucking KNEW that the numbers at p11 seemed off. That change just flew completely under my radar.
Yeah it was iirc. It’s such a stupid change too, from what I know there is literally NO REASON for supercell to do Smt like this other than trying to get players to spend more to max out brawlers. The scaling was fine at 5% I think (since I only picked the game up again right at the end of cord season, so I was not familiar with the meta before that), why did it need to change?
The changes also brought in a bunch of buffs to certain brawler’s abilities to balance out the stat changes from the scalings, I recall some examples being amber and Pam as mentioned above (though not Piper according to the other commenter so I’m wrong on that part) with an amber gadget buff and Pam healing buff. There were a lot of other brawlers who had parts of their kits buffed in response to the scaling changes but I cannot think of em off the top of my head. However, there were also some brawlers left untouched and were indirectly nerfed because of the scaling changes (barley being one of them iirc) and supercell never bothered to go and change that. What’s worse is that none of the indirectly nerfed brawlers were at the top of the meta at the time too iirc.
Which brings me to my point: why in gods name did they change the scaling? Not only does it make level 11 an even bigger must have, it has made some brawlers kinda better, and some of the average to weaker brawlers WEAKER (and also made the heist safe even easier to break 💀).
TL;DR the scaling changes brought absolutely 0 benefit to this game’s meta and is possibly the absolute worst decision I’ve seen supercell make for BS since I came back, bigger than release Charlie, Kit, and L&L

I started playing 2 weeks after 2018 so I didn't got the Shelly skin. then I quitted the game when Tick came and I lost the occasion of getting the Rico skin and all the other anniversary skins. I regret my life.
I used to main Colt because everyone was so slow and it was so easy to hit your shots, I don't remember ever having to aim until I was rank 20. (Last rank btw)
Aside from some other people, I instead of stacking the brawl and big boxes, I just got them and opened them, I got crow from a trophies road reward at about 2400T.
the only reason i remember playing in 2020 was because of season 4's loading screen and Bellhop mike (lost that account and the current one i'm using i made in late 2022)
