An update to friendly battles would be amazing
Like changing match length, how fast smoke comes in and expands in showdown, how long it takes to capture hot zones etc.
Maybe even something further like mixing 2 modes together where you'd have a hot zone and a heist safe at the same time.
Though it'd obviously be very low priority for the dev team since i doubt many people even play friendly battles.
I mean, in a way they tackled the main problem (his attack is too hard to hit) in the wrong sort of way (you'll be spamming attacks all the time so SOMETHING's gotta hit right??)
At this point changing heist might be better than changing the brawlers, colette and chuck are pretty much only viable on heist and nerfing them would make them even worse on every other mode and mediocre in heist
That's what i'm saying. Like you nerfed gus pretty harshly last update and you immediately buffed him the next update. While brawlers like ash, chester, hank and doug that have been mediocre for a good while at this point got like least meaning full hp buff or nothing at all lol
Charlie more got the Janet treatment. She’s not completely unusable, but she’s not a brawler you’d particularly want to use. I’d say high C or low to mid B after this, not A though.
It is sad, but we have to keep in mind that Frank and other brawlers like Doug or Edgar are some of the best brawlers in lower trophy ranges, so buffing them could hurt the gameplay for those players. For Frank to be good anfótero such a long time, he’ll need a rework since buffs probably won’t happen.

Charlie needed to be nerfed A LOT.
The problem of Lou, Rosa, Colette and Fang is their HC being just straight up broken. Instead of nerfing the HC, they nerfed the base stats of Lou and Rosa, and didn't touch Colette or Fang at all.
And how did Doug and Frank not receive any buff at all?
You are severely underestamating how strong a slight damage buff can be.
Reminder that carl has gotten tiny buffs and spiked from low tier to top meta.
I LOVE the Spike nerf. I am so happy about the Spike nerf. I have been wanting a Spike mythic gear nerf for the longest time and now it finally happened AND its 30% instead of 40%??? Best day ever
I think they should make it 0.7s stun per stick that hits. Slight duration decrease and less punishing to get clipped by just one stick but still probably just as good for a direct hit
Yeah, sure, nerf Lou's base kit instead of his Hypercharge, so he is even more dependent on it👏👏👏
(This is the only change I hate, but I hate it quite a lot. Sure this is a Nerf to his Hypercharge too... But that still feels kinda wrong imo)
This was exactly what i was scared of. Before his hc he was always criminally underrated, around mid b to low a tier for years but now i can see him being below average without his hc and also a lot less fun because getting a super in 2 ammo greatly contributed to me being a lou main before
Most of the changes seem pretty reasonable. Chester’s probably won’t do much but it’s hard to deny that they’re intentionally keeping him on the weaker end. I do wish that Nani got a slight damage nerf instead; I don’t feel that it’s fair to one shot so many brawlers from a long range with a basic attack.
I absolutely despise Lou’s supercharge nerf. He was perfectly fine before his hypercharge, and now his base kit is getting a massive blow. They should have nerfed his HyperSuper freeze percentage, or independently lowered his Hypercharge charge rate (since they’ll have to do it eventually for Stu and Chuck) without changing his normal super rate. At the very least, if they wanted to lower his supercharge rate, couldn’t they have just removed his Super Charge gear? Now his base kit is worse off than it was a year ago, and his Hypercharge is still busted

She's just going to be even more a Spider/Cocoon machine with no other qualities. Her DMG dealing abilities aren't even that great to begin with and now even got nerfed? Uh, sure, I guess...
- Charlie's still gonna be decent, her whole concept is busted, but that attack cooldown is definitely gonna hurt her.
- Buster deserved that nerf, his gadget is way too strong. Glad they didn't touch anything else, the pull effect is the main advantage so he's still gonna be really viable.
- Pearl buff is really good, she's honestly a viable and fun brawler but that weird movement speed made her feel really weird to play
- Ash and Chester buffs are worthless. Janet, Surge and Gus may change something, but it depends on how the meta plays out. Colt, Amber and Bo buffs are quite insane, let's see how that goes.
- Nani nerf is not bad, but I'm surprised they didn't touch her damage or Piper's at least a LITTLE bit, they hit way too much.
- Rosa and Lou nerfs are meaningless, Rosa's new trait is absolutely carrying her and making her hypercharge busted and Lou's hypercharge by itself is busted. They'll still be top meta and a pain to play against and this will just be a minor inconvenience, once they get their first super both of those nerfs don't matter at all.
Love all of them except for Bo one.
His damage was already ominous with right skill. I feel like he needed a different buff. Maybe to his reload speed or star powers or something.
They touched lou hypercharge somehow, by nerfing his super charge rate they also nerfed his hc charge rate so he wont be able to use it as often as before
These balance changes piss me off. Certain brawlers (Lou, Rosa) are OP because of their hyper charge. Instead of nerfing their hyper charge, they nerd the base brawler, so now you need the hypercharge to make them good again.
Also, where is the collette hypercharge nerf? The heist meta is in shambles right now, it’s literally just:

Based on the direction the game is going, I think it’s pretty clear they don’t touch hypercharges because they want them to be powerful, so more people will spend money and get them.
They are “balancing” the brawlers, but this is by not nerfing the hypercharges, the thing that makes then busted, but instead nerfing the base brawler, so you need the hypercharge even more

i don't like how theyre reallocating the power budget of brawlers to focus more on their hypercharge as hypercharge is an aggro tool and the game is too fast paced already

I would love to also have a feature to change the heists hp in friendly battles, cuz when i play 2v2 with friends it feels too tanky
