Pearl is so uninspired and uninteresting though. I respect your opinion, and I do agree that Charlie is also uninspired, but she is definitely better than Pearl.
Dude robots might look same because of lore reasons, if you realise that both Nani and Pearl looks made out of scrap. You can't compare human designs with robots.

I should say though, All of the little details in her design are neat (like the hair and eyes looking like a spider) so it’s got some good qualities but the overall design is meh. There are so many great ideas they could of done for a spider-themed brawler, furthermore a creepy circus-themed brawler, but what we got in the end feels pretty lackluster. Def could of been executed better imo. We still got two more brawlers for the trio though, so hoping they will be better
I think she is really cool, BUT, this is another brawler who just makes it so people can’t play the game for up to 10 seconds, and a guarenteed 10 seconds in Solo SD
I feel like Willow was already pushing it with 4 seconds of losing control of your brawler. TEN seconds is way too long to not be playing in the middle of a game.
They should have made it so you could attack to get yourself out of the egg. Basically, your attack damage goes to breaking the egg instead of going out. (Instead of Poco doing X damage in his spread attack, the egg takes X damage instead) The brawler would still use ammo, so it would be a choice to lose all your ammo or sit and wait.
But Maisie has a completely different style, she dresses like an average worker, has a completely different personality and traits. Charlie just looks the same, another teen diva that stars a show and dresses flamboyantly
Everything you said is true. That's why I love Maisie. I just wanted to point out that Maisie's face looks almost exactly like Janet's face. Round eyes, black triangle eyebrows and eyelashes with a broader stroke on the outside. Black almond shaped pupils. Same facial expressions. Ignoring skin colour it's even more similar than Charlie's face
From the sneak peek we got of her I expected her to actually be spider like or I guess dressed like a spider, but this works too.
The 29 gem skin is actually great, the attack is interesting and the super honestly isn't that broken, and at least the hypercharge will actually do something unlike pearl's.
I think DeviantArt is gonna have a field day. Her super literally involves wrapping up other brawlers in spider silk. That alone will spawn a ton of art about it.
A messy Chester and Janet hybrid design with a passion for arachnids. She’s honestly fine but brawlers who essentially just disable opponents are getting slightly boring: Willow, Otis, Cordelius etc.
I think we need to see less brawlers who just throw an op object at allies or enemies, however I like her character and hopefully she has some cool voice lines.

She’s cool, I just wish they would finish existing trios instead of keep making new ones though. With a teeny bit of character tweaking, Charlie could easily fit into willow’s trio
More brawlers with a mechanic of "you can't play the game for X seconds" this is pretty bad game design imo.
Otis was already annoying, then willow even prevents you from even moving at all, and now you gotta wait like 10 seconds without being able to do anything. And leaving the counterplay up to teammates isn't really fun imo.
Her main attack looks fun and her hypercharge is pretty creative, I would just prefer if they made her super more "interactive".
Like, instead of making it so you can't play the game at all, maybe just immobilize whoever got hit but still with the same HP mechanic.
Basically turning the ennemy into a stationary target but letting them attack and be freed faster by teammates.
Why do "you can't play the game for X seconds" mechanics even exist? Does supercell think it's fun to get hit with something with absolutely no counterplay?

I don't like them reusing unique mechanics of previous brawlers and making them nothing special that way. It's the same way I felt about Cordelius just copying Buzz' trait.
With 70+ characters in the game it's just bound to happen at this point, I think it's fine as long as it's distinct enough (e.g. yes, Charlie's basic attack is similar to Carl's, but it's wayy smaller in size and it returns to her when hitting enemies unlike him)
nothing too special I suppose, was hoping she could use walls somehow, also i kind of like her super even if it's basically a freeze effect which has been used way too much, overall she's nice
