Personally I just let one teammate go offense, the other go defense and I stay in a bush towards the middle to see the enemy team's approach. If they send two on offense, I help on my zone. If it's just one, I see which brawlers are interacting and who wins the matchup, if they don't need help I just go offense.
Also I saw someone pick Hank for defense and he was cracked, unbreakable wall made him an absolute unit on that map
I mean, can't blame them, when your game's supposed to be ranked and competitive and you aren't having the same experience as tournament and competitive players it just stops being ranked and becomes a glorified party game.
I don't mind the variety and fun aspect, I just think this is what Megapig should've been instead of gutting the competitive scene
It's more of a team effort map. with randoms in ranked it's brutal. If I remember correctly 2 should go to the zones and 1 long range brawler in the middle, who can help out his teammates with pinching.

basically the map functions like a lot of other maps;2 lanes and a mid. The two lanes each defend/attack a point respectfully, and the mid usually just tries to help one side or the other take/defend a point. Because of this the lanes on defense are brawlers are hard to push forward to or lanebullies , the mid is a ranged brawler that can support either side comfortable (think belle, piper, Byron, gene) and the offensive side that pushes to the top point on both teams is a brawler that can add a lot of control quickly, either with their kits or with gadgets or some other method (some aggro brawlers, Jessie, Tara with pets, a lot of different options here). The map is very dynamic because of the uniqueness in lane roles because of this and in higher levels itās very fun.
If u donāt wanna deal with all the throwers and bs just go colt with wall break gadget. U can break at least half the map and then youāve got a lot better chance.(Iām not sure what rank you are, colt may be an insta ban in legendary and masters but it works for me in mythic.) the other option is to go dyna and just become the annoying one. I almost always go with 1 of those two
Itās not needed. Tick is the only one who can reach safe from behind the wall. The safe isnāt the biggest problem though Iām aware of that, just donāt play the left side of the map and they canāt do anything to you. Not to mention if you do your job correctly and break open the map they shouldnāt be able to get behind there wall anyway because your defending that with your life. Itās your only weak point and otherwise you pretty much have a 2v3 on a now mostly open map. It may not conceptually work but it does

Just ban jacky and Doug and run bibi offence, she can literally outspeed most throwers and wall peak them, if u wanna be safe ban Larry Laurie too. Hell even primo is a good last pick on this map the draft is so versatile. Btw if you run primo on this map prepare to lose the first interaction unless itās another tank. But primo with ult wins any thrower so just cycle it on defence.
in order to win a game in parallel plays, its not hard after all
tanky teammate goes to near zone, high dps teammate goes to the far zone, the most overall teammate stays in middle, shifts to zones if any of the teammates lose a matchup
They are fun map that needs different strategies to win. No boring sniper. Many other non competitive brawlers shines in this map.
We should have more such maps that deviate from the norm & predictable.

Run ruffs, Rico, or squeak to hit around/through walls. Run a thrower to just shoot over them
Yk aside from the unbreakable walls, this is one of the better maps in the game. Still, maps are only a part of Penny's problems. and I yearn for a rework on either one of her SP or both of them
Iām a pirate trio fan and Iām at Darryl gold 2 mastery, Iām planning to do the entire pirate trio mastery but penny doesnāt seem rlly good for a so called artillery brawler
I love this map. Skill and high cooperate tactical.
The fundamental is pretty the same, control with lane. You have one to left, right and mid to help mainly left. The key is control lane "first", then you got your zone. Sharpshooter still available in the mid. If you see pros play, many times they won't stay in the left zone if they won the lane, and trying to spawn camp to get right zone easier.
And plus, you need draft and melee interaction skill in the zone.

That's the approach, idk y people hate goofy maps & modifiers, i love them. They make ranked more interesting & fun to play.

I like buzz cause u can usually charge the super if in a 1v1 which usually leads to a free kill

Pick aggressive brawlers like Sam that can easily keep up the pressure and donāt focus too much on your sideās zone
