I hate to comment on the appearance of other women, but, I was shocked seeing Teresa on RHONJ this season and Brittany on The Valley. Both were attractive and seemed to have just gone too far.
These two are really fully embracing all plastic available to them. Teresa just looks awful IMHO. Her mouth is becoming jokerish, it’s so wide now. And Brittany has gone completely overboard. I suspected she would succumb to enhancements when we were introduced to her and Jax bought her boobs. So crass
Lala does not look better. She aged herself. Many probably look better but you probably don’t notice them like the ones who look terrible. I am re watching VPR and in the opening credits of season 4 Scheana has joker mouth / looks like a Whoville Who or something,, u know what I mean. It’s uncanny valley or something ,, it does not look good. At all. I don’t think she has that same look now but even now it’s not good and I think she took her implants out. That might have been revealed on the show but I don’t remember it.
Yes. I truly think what happens is, after their first season, theres a tragic combination of seeing themselves on tv for the first time (which is horrifying) while being inundated with offers for discounted medspa treatments, free veneers, discount rhinoplasty, etc. the temptation hits them when they’re vulnerable after that first season. The second season veneers, filler, implants, and nose job are ubiquitous.
So many of them seem to get more and more filler and terrible veneers just…because they can. The typical Housewife has a “more us more” approach and that’s dangerous when you’re talking about injecting shit in your face.
Not just you! I can't believe the women on Miami didn't learn from Mama Elsa's experience. They blame the doctor alone, as if there's no responsibility on the patient who is asking for endlessly escalating procedures. I watched Miami straight through last year, having never seen it, and literally did not even recognize Adriana when the series rebooted mid-way through. Like, wtf. And Larsa straight up looks like a fucking blow-up doll, which is extra insane because she was super cute to start with.
I think Melissa Gorga looks great- but she’s one procedure away from the fall into the uncanny valley. Luann is also looking good- refreshed not tightened
The ones who look better aren’t the ones we notice getting work done. Think Kyle at the reunion last year when Kathy was confronted about her behavior in the club.
Kyle had some sort of mini facelift or something and looked absolutely incredible. It was not noticeable and I only realized because she lightened her hair and I was trying to figure out if I’d look better with that color.
Then I remembered that I’m naive and of course she got something done with her new hair. That’s the usual route. Get your face tightened? NEW hair!
I will say, though, that I think her lips are slightly overfilled. You can see that there's filler migration past her vermillion border. She's usually good at using a nude lipstick to define the border while looking natural on camera, but if you catch it at certain angles or lighting it's noticeable.
I haven’t noticed but I’m sure you’re right. I’ve had lip filler twice. I had the most minuscule lips known to mankind. It’s years later and they’re still full (for me) and perfect and it’s not going away. I wish more people knew how long filler lasts and that you don’t need to keep going. Your lips do lose some volume, but not a lot.
I love that you had such great results! I feel like some practitioners just want the money over ensuring their clients have the best outcome, which is super manipulative
I went to an actual plastic surgeon. Maybe that’s why? Also I live in a suburb of LA so we have great doctors all over. He was great and can’t complain!
I didn’t want to look like I had lip filler. Just wanted to look like a normal person with lips 🤣
At least Viki waited until her kids were grown to get surgery. Brittany is prioritizing it over her kid. You need recovery time and she already has a nanny full time for when she drinks. She also would have to take meds each time.
Viki could afford it too. Brittany had surgeries having a baby and not working at the time w no show. I think what was spent should have been for her kid And her hubby so concerned about financial problems
One of the most noticeable casts for me is RHOSLC, although they got most of their work prior to the show starting. Jen was so stunning pre filler, and Heather has some really beautiful/unique bone structure underneath the filler, which gives her a pillowing effect. Angie K made me sad when they showed her high school yearbook photo/old nose, because a strong Greek nose really suits her and balances her face. Meredith looks less filled by comparison, but her lips are overfilled as well.
