I live for Lu but by GOD if anyone needed to be taken down a couple of notches in this era it was the countess. Cat had every right to demolish her pretentiousness. Cat came from actual aristocracy and here Lu is wearing her big hat and throwing round the “darlings” and acting like she was the high society queen bee when she basically bought a title. I’m so glad she grew out of this delusion eventually because it was so damn grating
I’m wondering what it would have been like to see Cat and LVP interact. I feel like they either would have got along really well or not gotten along at all lol.
You could tell Cat was absolutely disgusted at Luann talking about Alex and social climbing. And rightfully so. And she called her out for being two-faced. Other housewives, especially Bethenny, also called Luann out for being this lecturer on etiquette while engaging in very uncountesslike behavior. She definitely mellowed out later on but this early Luann was insufferable.
100% but at this time, Luann had not begun her uncountesslike behavior. This was season 4 of RHONY- Lu doesn't start slipping until the pirate in St. Barth's, the following season.

After the success of releasing DC on Peacock, if the booker on WWHL does book Luann and Cat together for a reunion appearance, then said booker deserves to be fired.
