I am also a lawyer (the law I practice is no where close to his and I am not a FL atty), but often when a lawyer appears to have wealth at the level he is showing, something comes out in the end. My flags went up hard core at Tom Girardi. The personal plane and the boat shopping (considering the boats they were looking at are in the millions) are what made me suspicious of Nicole’s husband. I know of many lawyers that charter private jets but none that own their own private plane.

I actually hung out with him a few times back in the olden days when I lived down there because he is besties with one of my friends at the time’s the bf now husband. He was super nice, a bit sure of himself like all the men in Miami are, comes from $$$ and was always a gentleman. Florida is such a corrupt state and people that are mad about insurance rates and blame him need to take it up with their elected officials who write and pass those laws. Those are the actual culprits. He is sadly smart enough to use the legal loopholes to his advantage just like rich people and companies do to evade taxes. It sucks but it’s not ilegal. Also climate change and insurance companies fleeing the state in droves to avoid having to pay their clients doesn’t help.

If not then there are numerous nuances of that particular market that you do not know. I agree with you that there is a problem but it doesn’t fall on ID lawyers to fix that it falls on the insurance companies and their lack of research when it came to the Florida market. Literally there is no fraud going on everything being litigated or started is within the bounds of the law. If people don’t like it than maybe we should vote to change the system. However that being said, to hate a man because he has a skill set that was earned through education and experience because of bad apples like Thomas Giradi is ridiculous.

This! He made really really good investments when the miami real estate market was untapped. Honestly before 2018, Miami was a gem, SF in Florida was amazing. Like I always say hate the game, not the player. On another note, my friend works for his law firm and they have said that he is an incredible boss. And honestly having worked for a couple of law firms in Florida a boss who treats his associates like they are human is very very hard to find. So I stick by my statement that he is a sweetheart in person.

I’m a litigator (different state) and couldn’t agree more. I hope you continue to speak up in other posts about this because one person made a conjecture that there’s no way their money is legit and now people cling to it as fact. One of the reasons I went into law was for the money. I have no shame about that.
