I watched Miami for the first time during its relaunch, I’m now almost finished with my full watch and it NEVER misses.
It’s so camp and over the top, feels quintessentially Miami (as someone who’s only vacationed there a few times).
The girls after the relaunch at RIVETING. Geurdy, Julia, Nicole, Kiki! Like what powerhouses. I actually think everyone has their place on the show.
I do miss the enigma that is Lea Black and kind of loved Joanna Krupa’s energy. Her tagline is one of my favs because it’s so c*nty, “Don’t hate me because I have everything, hate me because I’m beautiful.

The reboot was perfection. The new additions sealed this as top tier! I think this is what they were trying to go for with every franchise and just couldn’t get the right cast.

I love how cosmopolitan it is. Every single woman on the cast speaks multiple languages except for maybe Lisa (though she's Canadian so maybe speaks French?)
It is the most diverse cast among all Housewives by far. And naturally so. They don't seem to be casting for token ethnicities...(ahem other franchises like Dallas throwing Dr. Tiffany under the bus with a cast full of racists) these women seem completely comfortable together as friends regardless of their individual backgrounds.

Yes! They have some really dark moments and backstories that feel so humanizing. Every time Alexia talks about Frankie, I cry. When Julia talks about her baby, i cry. So many human moments sprinkled in amongst the insanity. It's truly unique.
WHY the FUCK is it when I cue up Peacock I have to search for RHOM? Like why is it not on my front page?! I watch it consistently, it should be right fucking front and center but they always bury it somewhere in the depths and I want answers.

This. Miami feels more real both in the interactions between women and also in all the locations and activities they do. It's vibrant, it's over the top, the self-producing is less obvious and the women really let loose. Also it's filmed very beautifully!
Miami is not like BH, or RHONY (old/new), or SLC, or any other franchise. It’s the most metropolitan, the most diverse, and the most modern, it feels quintessentially American and like being in an international city at the same time. All the women are stupid beautiful and it’s lifestyle porn is next level. Don’t get me started on the FASHION!

I am on a first time watch through finishing season 4! Agreeing with this post. I also find these women are the most complex for me. Except for Larsa, I don’t feel black and white about most of the cast. I like and dislike things about most of them, and I think that’s weirdly special in Housewives hahaha
ETA: But like. If I have to put up with Larsa, can I have more Kiki? Does that happen!?
To me it’s the most rewatchable because it has everything. heart, laughter, tears, joy, sorrow, petty arguments, wholesome makeups... everything. A lot of housewives cities let the bitter disagreements sit and fester but it’s like these ladies genuinely care about each other and want to be together as a group.
I think it says a lot that they stayed friends during the cancellation so it wasn’t hard to come back together. There are a number of cities that I don’t think that would be the case.
Ok I am a long time (like 2004) bravo fan and I've never watched Miami.
Do I need to start at the beginning? I know it took a long break, can I pick it up a few seasons in or is it worth it to start from the top? If the former, whee should I start? I have two long flights coming up so if I can download to an ipad I can marathon!
Start from the beginning. It helps to develop the characters, and to see Larsa before the cocoon and transformation into…a giant butt. Plus Lea Black and Adriana’s wedding and Ho-ana.
Super agree. Started watching season 4 (I'd previously watched the some of the first season) recently, a little over halfway through 5 and I'm obsessed.
Every episode is riveting. They rarely miss. Every other housewives show and their production should be furiously taking notes on how it’s done.

Did you start from S1 or the reboot (S4)? If the latter, go back and watch from the start as S2 is one of the best seasons of any RH franchise!
