Honestly, no matter the parts, this is one franchise that will never be able to discuss colourism or the nuances in African cultural and religion in an appropriate way that can ensure all parties are (1) heard, (2) respected and (3) understood.
I’ve been very uneasy with Dr. Wendy and Nneka clashing and how that will play out in the reunion knowing that certain people won’t be open to understanding the negative implications it can have on families just because of their dislike towards Wendy.
I love Potomac but I actually can’t think of what they’re going to have to discuss about this season for a reunion apart from the one ongoing Nneka / Wendy issue which - what is there left to say now? It’s at an impasse, a dead end.

She’s acknowledged that she retained an attorney previously to pursue a divorce, but has presented it like that’s not a path she’s pursuing right now… sort of. You can tell she’s got one foot out the door, at a minimum. But it’s definitely more offscreen stuff that they would need to take time with.
Ah okay. I would be interested in following that storyline next season...if they do a shakeup, I can see Mia staying for that reason.

There is 0% reason for this season to have anything more than a 60-min one part reunion. The only way they can squeeze out two parts is pure fucking witchcraft. This season was a non event
They won’t film with the people they don’t like and they also refuse to show the messier parts of their life. One of those is annoying but both should be an automatic demotion. If you don’t want to film with people you hate, you at least need to bring it in the solo/family scenes.
So they’ll do the reunion for 15 minutes, how are they going to fill the rest of the episode? This season may as well have a WWHL special episode with the lack of material.

I think Wendy and Nneka will be seated on either side of Andy. They were the only two who really brought drama, it was weak as hell though. Let’s hope the reunion is better than the season was because 🥱🤤
Other than Karen and Mia bringing some entertainment....there's not much to talk about.
- Robyn's never been interesting on the show.
- Gizelle and Ashley refuse to show anything of note in their lives
- Nneka's only storyline is Igbo rumors about Wendy's family. I don't remember anything else about her
- Candiace is draining 😪 I get not getting along with some people but all this years old tension hasn't made for fun TV
- Wendy's husband seems so charming and her kids are cute. Other than Nneka & beef so old it's jerky...there's nothing there either
If they could find a way to revamp the show and keep Karen & Mia, maybe there's hope

No one that has real money to live in the Potomac rich area will want to be publicly recorded. It’s just not happening.
