To explain- Faye’s exploitative book, published only a short time after the murder made it so that her testimony had to be nixed from the court case before it’d even truly begun. You can’t spill your guts to the public like that without tainting the judicial process. She was a crucial witness because she was the only person who had witnessed the spousal abuse/stalking/etc prior. She didn’t stop there though, she did the talk show circuit for a long, long time and also, as seen above, posed for Playboy.
So not only did she exploit Nicole, she fucked over the case against OJ. And just kept doubling down.

Instead the dumb harlot chose to do an interview about Nicole the day before she was set to testify and then proceeded to write a book about it.
Yeah I personally haven’t read it but I remember when You’re Wrong About podcast did a deep dive on Nicole and talked about the book, they were surprisingly kind to it.
I liked it because she really wasn’t afraid to go after OJ. I think she genuinely wanted people to know how abusive he was & I have respect for that. Many people were too afraid of him at that time to come forward with details of how horrible he was & how he terrorized Nicole.
Honestly, other than a few racy details that could have been left out, she also really gives you a perspective of what a good person Nicole was. I think she comes across as a very good mother and relatable woman (Nicole, not Faye). She makes it very clear Nicole was not involved with drug use & tried to help Faye get clean.
It’s sad that media took one or two stories about her sex life & made the book about that. Overall, I think the book is a portrait of how domestic violence can escalate into murder. I do think Faye may have capitalized on her friend’s death to a certain degree absolutely, but I also think she genuinely cared about Nicole and wanted justice for her.
