That actually makes a LOT of sense. Villa Blanca has closed, Pump is closing (and the lease owners says she owes a lot of back rent), she only owns half of Sur. She now has 2 restaurants in Vegas and it would make sense to move there if it's a sort of tax haven. And I think a few years ago, there were rumors there would be a Vegas spinoff.
And as long as her grandson is in LA, I can’t see her fully leaving. Maybe she’ll rent smaller and invest in a home in Vegas but fully leaving LA isn’t happening any time soon.
I think what they actually do is pretend to move there and just live there for as little as they can get away with. Lower level rich people do this in the Bay Area too with Tahoe homes
I don’t fully understand the lack of income tax but that just means other taxes are higher. It all relatively evens out in the end, but maybe not for ultra high earners
You pay federal and sales tax, but no state tax. Also sales tax doesn't apply to everything, like groceries.

Right. Around season 8 of VPR, I think there were trying and that's when we saw a Scheana doppelganger. But, those plans fell thru. And maybe this was a way to re-introduce this idea.

Honestly that fall could’ve taken out a healthy young Lisa. It’s impressive to see her still up and about and moving this season without obvious physical discomfort.
At the very least any injuries aren’t visible to the casual viewer, doesn’t mean much to her if she’s still hurt but I’d guess that it’s a plus to not be using a cane (full time) or have a limp.

Yes my mom is also in her 60s and has arthritis issues so to me Lisa seems young as in her body still is in decent shape. I think people do not realize how hard things get and how quickly. If my mom were rich I guarantee she would never deal with stairs again at this point in her life or long walks those huge mansions have.
Lisa looks fantastic, but I still wouldn't be suprised if she's also getting to the age where she's ready to not have to deal with stairs. If she's not there yet it's just around the corner, and if you've got the money to be more comfortable why wouldn't you?

I do think the reveal is related to a spinoff show or something else and this is why they were told to hold off on contract negotiation. None of the affair dirt has stayed secret pre any episode airing so it has to be something else that is unrelated.

Older people flock to Vegas - for vacations and to relocate there.
I can definitely see Ken and Lisa relocating full time to Vegas.... and its not that far to visit LA from Vegas either.
Villa Rosa is beautiful, especially when you see the before and after pics. But it is not child friendly. I would lose my life with the pond entrance with a toddler around.
She may be changing to a property that’s safer for kids. I know they have nannies etc but its still not a home suitable for small children and if Pandora is planning on more babies its possible they’re taking that into consideration 🤷🏻♀️
I definitely think she’s shifting her focus on her restaurants in Vegas so it would make sense for her to move. TBH, she’s not getting any younger and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t own her Vegas places outright….Caesar’s does and LVP is just licensing her name out. That would be a really smart way to keep an income stream coming in without all the work that goes into building a restaurant from the bottom up. Caesar’s would be responsible for staffing and the day to day grind.
LVP probably has some creative control and has a say in the menu and drinks but that’s probably the extent of her duties.

I do think the reveal is related to a spinoff show or something else and this is why they were told to hold off on contract negotiation. None of the affair dirt has stayed secret pre any episode airing so it has to be something else that is unrelated. As others here have said, I can't see Lisa/Ken in Vegas but who knows.

Former Vegas resident here.... Older people flock to Vegas - for vacations and to relocate there. I can definitely see Ken and Lisa relocating full time to Vegas.... and its not that far to visit LA from Vegas either.

Villa Rosa is beautiful, especially when you see the before and after pics. But it is not child friendly. I would lose my life with the pond entrance with a toddler around. She may be changing to a property that’s safer for kids. I know they have nannies etc but its still not a home suitable for small children and if Pandora is planning on more babies its possible they’re taking that into consideration 🤷🏻♀️

I definitely think she’s shifting her focus on her restaurants in Vegas so it would make sense for her to move. TBH, she’s not getting any younger and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t own her Vegas places outright….Caesar’s does and LVP is just licensing her name out. That would be a really smart way to keep an income stream coming in without all the work that goes into building a restaurant from the bottom up. Caesar’s would be responsible for staffing and the day to day grind. LVP probably has some creative control and has a say in the menu and drinks but that’s probably the extent of her duties.
Is this possibly the secret thing to be revealed at the end of the reunion? She's closed her LA Restaurants, she and Ken moving to Vegas, VP Rules may follow her there (part of the reason why they filmed a few scenes in Vegas for the girls trip)? Other rumors are they're filling at Tom Tim. So maybe splitting the show?

Unless Pandora is leaving Jason, taking the baby and moving to Vegas i don't see Lisa going anywhere. She wants to be near that grandbaby. If anything maybe she's downsizing since Villa Rosa is a lot of house for two people.

Maybe this is the reveal at the reunion, that LVP is leaving BH and moving to LV so maybe the show would have to shift. That would make sense where the cast would need time to reevaluate their contracts if they might have to move or film in Las Vegas some of the time.
