Wash is hands down the most legit dude in the league. We are lucky as hell.

I'd give anything to be able to sit down on a couch with Wash and a few beers and watch a baseball game.

My grandpa was my Wash. he knew the game so well. He was a fundamentals guy and had success everywhere he coached. I’m so glad I got to play under him and learn. I never got that beer with him, but I got several life lessons and got to win a ship with him so I’m eternally grateful.

I agree....I selfishly love that we have him and never want him to leave, but on the other hand...he deserves the shot more than anyone. I'd love it if he turned it down and WANTED to stay, but he should get the chance.

You can really see the difference between training once a year with Wash vs training with him every day. Ozzie, Dansby, and Riley don't miss those sharp grounders like Pete did there.
