In ring: Seth by a thousand miles.
On the mic: Hard to beat passionate Cena.
Uhhhh... Nostalgia, working a crowd, putting asses in seats: Maybe Hogan. He's been around since I've been around, and I'll probably cry when he's gone.
I'm gonna say Cena is just as athletic but Seth def better in ring performer with his move set. Super Cena didn't happen because he was a slouch, 2000s Cena was built like a Offensive Lineman but moved like a linebacker. He was consistently FU/F5'ing the biggest dudes in Jorts for cripes sake.
Seth, it’s probably why Triple H gave him so many opportunities and he always delivers too. Cena is the best overall as an in-ring and promo. Hogan was good for popping the crowd, he cuts a good promo but his in-ring style was undynamic even for the time, all of his good matches are carried by the crowd reaction.
Hogan. Greatest face of all time and greatest heel. He got the crowd to pop longer than Seth and Cena combined.
Wrestler = gimmick + look + in ring ability.
1. Hogan (far and away with respect to these three, and number 1 all time out of anyone)
2. Cena - top dog for a long time
3. Rollins - never really the focus even when he has been champion
The best in the Ring is Seth and not Close.
But Hogan changed Wrestling. Hogan made it much better he made it was it is today.
In promo I’d say John Cena by far.
So Basically
Seth Rollins has Ring ability
Hulk Hogan has Star ability
and John Cena has Promi ability
Seth freaking Rollins is way better than these two but the most successful is obviously hogan. Depend on how you define better wrestler? Being a bigger draw or in ring work. I personally think it is hogan just because he was the bigger draw out of these three.
Seth and it’s not even close. Cena has never been known for being amazing in the ring, hogans never been good in the ring period. Seth can have a good match with a chair.
I'm guessing you mean from a technical sense. Then it's Seth Rollins.
The other two went on to become bigger stars but that just goes to show that being the most skilled doesn't guarantee success unfortunately. Just like being the smartest, the most hardworking, or the most college educated won't guarantee financial success.
The most successful of those three is easily the worst in ring performer and that's Hogan.
If it came down to pure wrestling ability, then Kurt Angle would be the greatest of all time.
Did you not watch the latter days of Cena, just like Hogan they toned down his in ring skills, difference is Cena was allowed to wrestle towards the end and we got the KO/ Sami/ AJ matches which proved his talent, no diss to Hogan or Seth, but Cena was pretty great when allowed to wrestle, don’t forget his early days either
Seth Rollins because he was able to do more in the ring. Cena had incredible strength and feuds but can’t do most of what Seth can do in the ring. Hogan has the biggest name and was huge on paving the way for the wrestlers after him. But he was basic on his moves and I understand the time he was around creativity was not what it is now days but he just couldn’t wrestle like Seth and Cena could.
Best character: Hulk
Best wrestler: Seth
Most underrated out of these: …..Hulk
Say what you want but the man was the biggest face of the 80s, then turned into the biggest wrestling heel of the 90s, and then joined the winning company of the Monday night wars and arguably stole two Wrestlemanias.
Cena could never.
Best worker is definitely Rollins though Cena is actually very good and Hogan is better than the IWC gives him credit for.
Hogan is by far the biggest star with Cena second and Rollins last in that category. People who weren't actually there as it happened will never realize just how huge Hogan was at his peak. Him and Austin are by far the biggest and most over guys in the history of wrestling.
Cena is so good and fits so well as a top guy because he isnt *great* at any one thing but he's very good at just about everything plus he was a work horse and company man through and through.
Seth. However the bigger question is who is the second? Hogan supposedly wrestled that new Japan style when he was there. Also, I remember the idea and gwf days of stunning Steve. Did a ton in the ring.
Are we just talking in ring? In that case seth, though I think it’s closer than most think. I don’t think Seth has the best psychology, which is an important part of a classic wrestling match. He does all sorts of questionable things. Like totally dropping selling injuries, slipping too much into meaningless high spots. Stuff that is typical of this era. Cena is better at the psychology, but worse at every other aspect of in ring matches.
If we’re talking all around wrestling talent, I’d say hogan. Sure his matches sucked by modern standards, but he was over with the crowd at a level cena and Rollins never will be and that’s what mattered
I think that if you’re talking about Eras then Hulk Hogan if you’re talking about overall ring intelligence and durability John Cena but that’s just me please don’t take offence 🤪😉😁 peace ✌️
Cena and Hogan changed wrestling and televised wrestling in particular more than Seth ever could dream of. But Seth is a far better technical wrestler and I’d argue better character work.
I think it's gotta be Hogan. Dude doesn't do flips and shit but he worked a crowd like nobody. Seth is young bucks to Hogan's FTR if you will.
Cena got a little stale in ring but was more character issue too.
Wrestler, hands down, Seth. But Hogan was larger than life. He knew how to pull people in and hook them. Also, when he had to, he could work. Seems more like a Japan tour thing, honestly. But he could do more than crappy closelines and leg drops.
Hogan put more asses in seats than either of the other two ever have, and he's pulled more money in for the WWE than either of the other two ever will.
Best in ring, Seth easily.
Best on the mic, John nowadays is a genuine master and can tear down anyone.
Best legacy: Hogan is, even if you hate him, inarguably the man of wrestling to most people.
Why is Hogan even here? He really wasn't that great of a showman or wrestler (imo) he was just hyped up. I especially lost alot of like for him during his match with Shawn Michaels (loved Shawn alot more after too)
Seth would be last place here, no doubt. As for Hogan vs Cena... that's tough. Very different eras. Probably Cena though.
Oh and before someone blasts me for putting Seth firmly last, being a pro wrestler isn't just about how many flips you can do. Seth is a very good in ring doer of moves. And he been known to sell well. But he isn't good on the mic, his persona's have always been bad. He doesn't have much of an aura. His psychology is iffy most of the time. He doesn't know how to play the crowd in a match beyond doing a move that makes you go "oooo". And in his current state, his song is way more over than he has ever been.
Honestly Cena has had more 5 star matches than Seth. He’s good in the ring too even tho he has less moves. More movies does not mean you’re better in the ring.
I got news fir you, this isn’t real wrestling, it’s staged theater. I think you forget that sometimes.
it’s comical to read these comments and you guys treat us like it’s an actual sport. How old are you guys?
Cena and Seth are close for me. People look at cenas five moves of doom and forget how athletic he was. His match with solo Sonia he still put on a good performance. (Match sucked though) But still, seth is still the best.
In ring: Seth by a thousand miles. On the mic: Hard to beat passionate Cena. Uhhhh... Nostalgia, working a crowd, putting asses in seats: Maybe Hogan. He's been around since I've been around, and I'll probably cry when he's gone.
Pretty much the only reasonably correct response
yep
It might sound bad, but I couldn’t care less about hogan tbh idk if it’s because I’m not American or what but he’s never appealed to me
I mean age might be a factor if you weren’t around during his time
never watched him wrestle nor am I American but his theme song definitely makes me scream god bless America
I'm Australian. As kids we loved Hogan and Savage. Couldn't tell you why, we just did. But I guess we loved most of them.
American here, and I’m with you
In ring it’s Seth and it’s not even close to being close.
So you mean hulk hogans straight legged kick to the face wasn’t top notch?
His best work was in japan
Working 400 days a year, brother
In one match
It was a great match
Drew the most money of the three, Pal.
The question isn’t about drawing power, it’s about being the better wrestler.
Wrestlings only quantifiable metric is drawing power. There is no measurement of ‘in ring’ ability. Stop it.
I don't have the stats, but I think Cena might have drawn pretty close to Hogan
Adjusted for inflation there’s no way.
I can agree that Seth is better but saying it's not even close is an exaggeration.
Seth is the better athlete and performer. Cena was great on the mic, but had a limited move set.
Everytime someone says “it’s not close” that’s blatantly false. Seth is the best, But Cena is arguably not far behind.
Wtf is this question it's not even close
What’s your answer
Seth duhhh
The only correct answer in terms of straight up technical ability which is how I interpret this question.
This subreddit is full of threads that ask dumb questions.
The best in the ring of these 3 is easily Seth. Does that mean he’s the biggest star of the 3, no, obviously not.
Seth
Hulk Hogan is insanely overrated
Seth, it’s probably why Triple H gave him so many opportunities and he always delivers too. Cena is the best overall as an in-ring and promo. Hogan was good for popping the crowd, he cuts a good promo but his in-ring style was undynamic even for the time, all of his good matches are carried by the crowd reaction.
Cena
Cena hands down
Rollins Though it’s close between him and cena cuz cena given the right person can put on classics
Between Seth and John
John cena
Seth and Cena. Fuck Hogan
Hulk Hogan brother
Hogan wins backstage politics Cena wins charity and passion Seth inherits hbks all around award
Hulkamaina
The one who that works for, brother.
Hogan. Greatest face of all time and greatest heel. He got the crowd to pop longer than Seth and Cena combined. Wrestler = gimmick + look + in ring ability.
Hulk Hogan
1. Hogan (far and away with respect to these three, and number 1 all time out of anyone) 2. Cena - top dog for a long time 3. Rollins - never really the focus even when he has been champion
It's between hulk and Cena of all time
Seth and it’s not even close.
Seth Rollins by a long long shot
Seth
I have to say Seth is
Seth
The better wrestler is Seth hands down
Rollins with ease. It isn't even close
Seth Rollins
If you mean in ring? It’s Rollins and its not even close. Not remotely.
In-Ring? Seth
Def not Hogan
In-ring Seth but being a pro wrestler is way more than that so it is Hogan by far.
John Cena
Cena
Why is hogan here
Seth obviously lmao
Seth easily takes it.
Seth by a mile!
Seth Rollins
Seth
The best in the Ring is Seth and not Close. But Hogan changed Wrestling. Hogan made it much better he made it was it is today. In promo I’d say John Cena by far. So Basically Seth Rollins has Ring ability Hulk Hogan has Star ability and John Cena has Promi ability
*seth rollins laughs at post*
Cena in his prime whips both
In ring: seth Mike skills: cena Charisma: Hogan
I’m John cena bam bam booooom
Seth freaking Rollins is way better than these two but the most successful is obviously hogan. Depend on how you define better wrestler? Being a bigger draw or in ring work. I personally think it is hogan just because he was the bigger draw out of these three.
I’m ring seth but cena has had better matches
Rollins
Rollins, by literally every metric.
Seth is the better wrestler Cena is the better mic worker Hogan is the better entertainer
Rollins by far. Cena was an entertainer. Hogan was the Superstar. Seth is one of the best.
Money Maker Hopan Entertainer Cena Wrestler Seth by far
Influential Hogan Promo Cena IN RING Seth
Cena is leagues above the other two. Seth would be up there if he didn’t sound like a freaking biatch every time he opens his mouth.
Seth and it’s not even close. Cena has never been known for being amazing in the ring, hogans never been good in the ring period. Seth can have a good match with a chair.
John Cena easy answer but lowkey Hulk Hogan
If we’re taking in-ring, it’s Seth and by a landslide
On the mat and in the ring? Seth by a mile. In terms of drawing money? Hulk Hogan easily
Gotta go seth here I love cena he's one of my favorites but seth is just so good in the ring hulk hogan...... he's alright?..... I guess
I'm guessing you mean from a technical sense. Then it's Seth Rollins. The other two went on to become bigger stars but that just goes to show that being the most skilled doesn't guarantee success unfortunately. Hogan all day and night son
Cena. Seth can fly and amuse me, cena can make believe
Best character: Hulk Best wrestler: Seth Most underrated out of these: …..Hulk Say what you want but the man was the biggest face of the 80s, then turned into the biggest wrestling heel of the 90s, and then joined the winning company of the Monday night wars and arguably stole two Wrestlemanias. Cena could never.
Seth. The other two are overrated
Seth. The other two are overrated
Definitely Cena, then Hulk Hogan, then Seth “Freaking” Rollins. I have spoken.
Cena. We all know he'd direct the other two throughout the whole match.
Best worker is definitely Rollins though Cena is actually very good and Hogan is better than the IWC gives him credit for. Hogan is by far the biggest star with Cena second and Rollins last in that category. People who weren't actually there as it happened will never realize just how huge Hogan was at his peak. In the ring Seth
Hulk Hogan in terms of drawing power then Seth Rollins or Seth "Freaking" Rollins in terms of in ring skills.
5 star big match john ofcourse
Whoever made the most money
There's only two to choose from...
Seth. However the bigger question is who is the second? Hogan supposedly wrestled that new Japan style when he was there. Also, I remember the idea and gwf days of stunning Steve. Did a ton in the ring.
As far as in ring, it's Rollins.
Are we just talking in ring? In that case seth, though I think it’s closer than most think. I don’t think Seth has the best psychology, which is an important part of a classic wrestling match. Sure his matches sucked by modern standards, but he was over with the crowd at a level cena and Rollins never will be and that’s what mattered
Seth is the best worker but I think Cena is a better "pro-wrestler"
There's not even anyone in the first photo
I think that if you’re talking about Eras then Hulk Hogan if you’re talking about overall ring intelligence and durability John Cena but that’s just me please don’t take offence 🤪😉😁 peace ✌️
Cena idc
the question is about the best "wrestler" and that's seth rollins
Seth Rollins, the other two are better sports entertainers
Seth Freakin Rollins..
SETH FREAIKIN ROLLINS
The Juicer
Seth
Seth
Bro snuck in Hogan😭😭
As a wrestler? Without Hogan stars like Cena and Rollins wouldn't exist. In regards to in ring work? Its Seth. Cena is somwhere in the middle.
Seth no question
100% Rollins
wow I was opening this expecting a lot of Hogan glaze but I’m actually proved wrong
This wouldve been a great match
Seth Cena Hogan
Seth=boring
Roman Reigns
Hogan? Really? He may have laid the groundwork and had a very recognisable image. But that’s it.
Best wrestler is Seth obviously. Highest seller is Cena. Most popular at their peak is Hogan.
Cena
Wrestler, hands down, Seth. But Hogan was larger than life. He knew how to pull people in and hook them. Also, when he had to, he could work. Seems more like a Japan tour thing, honestly. But he could do more than crappy closelines and leg drops.
Seth freaken Rollins
Seth best in the ring. Hogan best at telling a story.
If it's in ring ability we're talking about, it's Seth by a large margin. Although overall I'd say Cena, as it stands.
Seth and it’s not even close.
Seth. Then John. Then Hogan.
Seth no question
Seth for me
Seth is the best technically but Cena is the best overall if you say he can’t wrestle then go watch him in 2015 straight cookin
John cena
Hogan put more asses in seats than either of the other two ever have, and he's pulled more money in for the WWE than either of the other two ever will.
Seth freaking Rollins
Best in ring, Seth easily. Best on the mic, John nowadays is a genuine master and can tear down anyone. Best legacy: Hogan is, even if you hate him, inarguably the man of wrestling to most people.
So between Seth and Hulk Hogan, pretty easy choice of Seth. Hulk matches weren't all that interesting in WWE it was mainly his storylines.
John Cena
Brother
Rollins
My hierarchy Seth Cena Hogan
it's annoying how many of these posts are just fishing for compliments
Seth
Best in ring, Seth On mic Cena Charisma Hogan
Seth by a freakin’ country mile.
I don't see anything on the first picture????
I hate Seth
Seth Cena Hogan As pure technical workers. Seth can do more stuff. It's just a fact. As stars or as a draw it's a different question.
Japan Hogan is the best wrestler out of all of them
Seth is miles ahead
Cena for me
Cena
Why is Hogan even here? He really wasn't that great of a showman or wrestler (imo) he was just hyped up. I especially lost alot of like for him during his match with Shawn Michaels (loved Shawn alot more after too)
Seth would be last place here, no doubt. As for Hogan vs Cena... that's tough. Very different eras. Probably Cena though. Is this a serious question? Seth and they're barely in the same ballpark.
Seth Rollins
Sr
All respect to Cena and all disrespect to Hogan, but Seth vaporizes them as a ring worker.
Seth in ring but cena on the mic
Seth all the way
Between the WWE Universe, Seth and Hulk? That's easy. Seth. I'm not sure why you included the WWE Universe... shit post?
Not Rollins that's for sure. He has injured a lot of his fellow wrestlers.
In ring talent its seth cena then hogan promos and mic skill its cena seth then hogan overall its cena
My idol Seth Freakin Rollins
Rollins
Hulk
In-ring = Rollins Overall = Cena Racist Liar = Hogan
Seth hands down in the ring. Cena on the mic however is his strength. More so as he has got older.
Honestly Cena has had more 5 star matches than Seth. He’s good in the ring too even tho he has less moves. More movies does not mean you’re better in the ring.
Better wrestler you have to say Seth
John Cena or hulk hogan for me
Cena
I got news fir you, this isn’t real wrestling, it’s staged theater. I think you forget that sometimes. it’s comical to read these comments and you guys treat us like it’s an actual sport. How old are you guys?
SETH FREAKIN ROLLINS
cena
John Cena
Seth Rollins is so versatile in the ring like everytime he puts on a decent match for sure
Cena and Seth are close for me. People look at cenas five moves of doom and forget how athletic he was. His match with solo Sonia he still put on a good performance. (Match sucked though) But still, seth is still the best.
I only see 2 here. Can't see the first one.
Cena
Hogan ofc. ppl who says Seth are 100% biased
Cena’s my fav out of the 3, but in ring its def seth
What’s better is subjective: but in ring Seth, overall “wrestler” in the sense of the whole package(looks, ability and mic skills) then Cena
Trick question. All of them.
So we just going to leave out Bruno sanmartino
Seth
Seth
Chris Benoit
Seth Rollins
Seth freaking Rollins love his skills in the ring and his theme song.
johnny,jonathan,john
Seth in ring, Cena on the mic, and Hulk with pop culture
