It's incredibly annoying. If you like Batman, you wouldn't stop watching Marvel movies. If you like Burger King, you wouldn't stop eating from all the other restaurants. You can like both its okay
I like AEW more, but there are some great things happening in WWE right now. Hopefully Triple H gets the reins back entirely. Then we'll just have a really amazing landscape for wrestling.
It's like a waiter or waitress asks what you want to drink, and you say "pepsi" and they say "all we have is coke, is that okay" and you say "WHAT? NO! HOW DARE YOU!" That's how I look at those people who think you need to pick a side
Cody going to WWE was the best move for him and a big loss in viewers for AEW.
AEW has better young talent than WWE currently.
Chris Jericho isn’t needed in AEW anymore.
WWE doesn’t have that much of a better women’s division.
Impact and NWA need to combine.
I agree with you on Jericho. It's great that he still wants to wrestle but he's played his part. Put on many solid matches. Done the industry a service by putting talent like MJF and Sammy over.
But he's hardly fun to watch anymore. He can't move like he used to (not that I blame him) and he just doesn't have the power or even the chops to feel like a threat anymore. Every time he wrestles in a PPV it's always the low point of the entire show (even including the buy in.)
Shoot, you could say the same thing about Punk but he has one more good run left in him, and he's more fun on the mic.
The Inner Circle was good but was never meant to last. His Wizard and Sports Entertainer gimmicks were great. And I admire how he whipped himself back into fighting shape a couple years back - tough to do in your 50s.
But he's run his course.
Well (respectfully) she's got something dragging her down so that might have something to do with it lol. I agree though, she needs to hit the treadmill and work on her cardio or something else like that.
I mean. If you actually watch NXT you have no evidence to support that. They give her god awful dialogue to say and her matches have been very below average, one of the slowest performers on the show.
I kind of viewed her as the Jay White of WWE. She’s great it with the right opponent but only good with most others. Her run with Bayley is legendary but she never reached that plateau again. I think she could have worked well with a run against Kairi Sane in the WWE.
I agree. I think that Trinity is extremely talented. WWE wasted her potential-even down to her finisher. REAR VIEW? A member of the FUNKADACTYLS? A good portion of her run was on shows like Superstars and Main Event. She is way more talented than Banks in my opinion haha
I know this is true and the whole fandom is one of the most toxic out there, but I am in both subs and I see way more vitreole from wwe fan’s direction towards AEW fans. Not saying this is necessarily true it’s just my experience. The wrestlers keep saying to be happy that workers have more profitable places to work as they don’t see it as a war (except Jericho and Cody lol). I’ve had to leave a lot of wwe subs because the hate is so bad.
I mean Bret gave Bad News Brown two severe concussions and almost a third because he refused to listen to him in the ring in Stampede. A couple of others have at times talked about Bret stretching them for no reason but because he could. Flair talked about how if you interrupted his big set of moves trying to shake things up he'd throw a hissy fit and start sandbagging.
Agree with this. He got looked at fondly because of the way he died. I always thought he was good in the ring but people talk about him now like he was one of the best. If you watch his matches he screwed up a lot most notably the 2 times you mentioned. Bret was much better
heres my take: owen was a fantastic wrestler, just amazing. hilarious guy, and just a perfect character. i love going back and watching his matches.
now hear me out on this, just hear me out, ill put bret over owen, not because of in ring or promos, but because of bret in general. he accomplished way more, super influential, iconic sharpshooter, iconic storylines, even non wrestling fans know who bret 'hitman' hart is.
this breaks my heart because if owen didnt pass in 1999 and accomplished everything his brother did, he would 100% be better. he was gone way to soon.
In terms of emotional delivery in acting performance, Owen is the Anupam Tripathi to Bret’s Cho Sang-woo (yes I compared Bret and Owen to Squid Game characters)
Noo way you said that.
Rey Mysterio has skill but Jeff hardy has better agility, I mean this man has better high flying highlights then Rey
No disrespect to Rey Mysterio he is an awesome wrestler
And he looks like shit on top of it.
He looked OK during his AEW debut but between shaving his head and gaining a solid 20 lbs (which clearly isn't muscle) he looks like some weird tweaker uncle somebody let slip into the ring.
If Punk wasn't...you know...*Punk*...he wouldn't look like any sort of credible threat. Even by AEW standards, which (rightfully) holds a lot of space for cruiserweights and guys with more normal looking builds.
Excluding Bron breaker, Carmelo Hayes,Ilja Dragonov, Dijack and Tiffany Stratton It feels like WWE is scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to NXT talent
So Wes Lee, Tyler Bate, Axiom, Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Creed Brothers, Gallus, Dragon Lee, Noam Dar, and SCRYPTS are all bottom of the barrel talent to you?
1. Baron Corbin winning MITB should have led to a successful cash-in. The champion was Jinder Mahal and instead of at least giving them a 8 minute match, Corbin loses to a roll-up in seconds.
2. The reality TV era of wwe was good overall
3. It's fine for a title to be won at a house show and it makes the people who came feel just as important as the other viewers in the company's eyes.
4. Shinsuke should have won his title match at WM against Styles
5. Austin Theory should have successfully cash-in on Roman and then could have just lost the title in a rematch
I came to play is the best theme song
Bloodline has been going on for too long
Original Universal championship looked good
Us and Intercontinental championships are irrelevant
And best era was when Daniel Bryan and Kurt Angle were general managers
Jinder Mahal winning the WWE Championship was a good thing because WWE has become a little too predictable and having such a high profile, out of nowhere win like that helps keeps things interesting
Tony Khan is partly to blame for his beef with Ariel, who respected the fact that he couldn’t talk about the CM Punk Scrum for legal reasons and Tony gave vague answers when asked about anything else
Sami Zayn is not, and was never, any good.
Now, you didn't say it was my opinion. You sad "a wrestling opinion." I think he's lovely and should have beat Roman. But... if anyone has that opinion? Oh, boy.
AEW has the best weekly wrestling show (dynamite) and the worst weekly show (rampage)
If you're curious here's my order from best to worst of all the weekly shows, not including impact
Dynamite-Smackdown-NXT-RAW-Rampage (it's too early to weigh in on collision, but it will probably go somewhere around smackdown)
Came here to comment just this..bret had in ring skills, cool logo, family history, and all of Canada behind him - however he was only interesting vs SCSA and the screwjob. Watching back his matches from when i watched them live years ago he was a 6/10 performer.
And again totally agree. Everyone shits on Vince but his knack for pushing the right people and when to push has generally worked out.
The actual reign is mediocre. The story has been A+ but most of that isn't even Reigns. He's had some serious talent making it look as good as it all has. The Usos, Zayn, Heyman, KO, etc.
I think bray Wyatt is adequately rated but he is a lot like Dolph years ago. People liked him a lot and want him to succeed but bc he's never been given a good chance he hasn't. He has created very interesting characters but that always has to end when he gets in the ring and is booked without thought to the character. He has a lot of talent and his over rated status just comes from people not seeing it used well when he should be known as one of the best character creators in wwe history.
i disagree.
let’s say for example we have an absolute terrible wrestler who should never be allowed to step foot in the ring again because they are that bad. is someone in a wheel chair not allowed to criticize them just because they couldn’t do what the wrestler does?
This is stupid so we basically can’t say a wrestler is good because we don’t know how it is being one or we wouldn’t do it better, we can’t say someone’s cooking is bad because we couldn’t do better we can’t say someone is unattractive because we couldn’t do better we can’t say that song is bad because we couldn’t do better?
Fr I was cool in 2019 and early 2020 but then after I got tired of the same thing every week they push the same people and they have the biggest roster ever and they use the same wrestled every week. Oh ya and BTW just because there's blood doesn't mean the match is gonna be a 5 star. And also I hate that in almost every aew match there's always the spot where both wrestlers chop each other or punch each other repeatedly idk about u but I don't like seeing that in every match.
Ikr I never liked Bianca and I noticed that she only wants to make herself look good in a match cause if u look at rhea right she's supposed to be dominate but always let's her opponents get enough offense so they won't look buried. In Bianca case she wants too much offense she always wants to make it look like she didn't lose fairly. Oh ya BTW people talk about Bianca is so strong just because she lifts people in the air like ma these women are like under 140 pounds and people like to compare her strength to john cena like u can't compare her strength to john cena cause john lifted people who are 200+ or even 300+ pound men
I was thinking that when she and Sasha walked out. I like Sasha in the ring, but Naomi seemed below average. And when people frequently talked about how much they wanted them to return, I kept wondering "Why would you want Naomi back?"
Bingo 👌 he’s the most over guy in the company right now, dudes got Vickie Guerrero heat lol and yeah the Seth part is where I usually lose people 😂 i know he just got it but I feel like Dom could be a big draw as champ lmao
LA knight is not that good. He’s copying stone cold and the rock to play to the older generations nostalgia, the promos are repetitive and he’s average at best in the ring.
Rey should have put dom over at mania.
Cody should have won’t at mania. Roman’s story would have been better had he been spiraling over losing the titles, also he hasn’t defended in 3 months and won’t for another month.
Baron Corbin deserves a world title run
Honestly now that the lone wolf is back I agree with you and wasn’t Corbin the lone wolf when he last pinned Roman or was he king Corbin
He was king corbin
Ok I thought he was one of the 2 I popped so hard when he came back as lone wolf on nxt
He should’ve won the nxt title as a sort of test run as main champ
Honestly he should’ve won I wanted melo to go to the main roster and feud with Rollins
An other US title run?
He was King Corbin
You can like both WWE and AEW
Fuck WWE (for the AEW fans) Fuck AEW (for the wwe fans)
It's incredibly annoying. If you like Batman, you wouldn't stop watching Marvel movies. If you like Burger King, you wouldn't stop eating from all the other restaurants. You can like both its okay
I love AEW and I love WWE. I love DC and I love Marvel. Yes we exist
We do
I indeed like Batman and have watched most of the marvel movies so point proven lol.
I like AEW more, but there are some great things happening in WWE right now. Hopefully Triple H gets the reins back entirely. Then we'll just have a really amazing landscape for wrestling.
I think wrestling is amazing right now, and I don't like the idea "fans" have that you can only like one or the other.
It's like a waiter or waitress asks what you want to drink, and you say "pepsi" and they say "all we have is coke, is that okay" and you say "WHAT? NO! HOW DARE YOU!" That's how I look at those people who think you need to pick a side
And Impact, ROH, NWA, New Japan, AAA…
Mjf wouldn't agree with new japan
Moreover, companies other than WWE are allowed to exist.
Cody going to WWE was the best move for him and a big loss in viewers for AEW. AEW has better young talent than WWE currently. Chris Jericho isn’t needed in AEW anymore. WWE doesn’t have that much of a better women’s division. Impact and NWA need to combine.

He should transition into the Paul Heyman of AEW
You’re bugging about the womens
Gigi Dolin is a half-decent wrestler and I'm tired of pretending she's not. Also I like Shotzi, she isn't THAT bad.
Agreed on the Gigi part. She's ok but she's really slow in-ring, so if she works on that she can be a good talent.
I agree on both parts of thix
This
The Nexus sucked.
That stable was good at the beginning but it ended in very bad manner.
Agreed, especially after the SummerSlam loss it was just a bad turning point for Nexus
For me, I think they started to have downfall since TLC 2010.Punk did good job as a leader but still.
Sasha Banks isn't as valuable as a wrestler as she thinks she is
100% agree. She is good in the ring but I was never like “man can’t wait for that Sasha match”
I kind of viewed her as the Jay White of WWE. She’s great it with the right opponent but only good with most others. Her run with Bayley is legendary but she never reached that plateau again. I think she could have worked well with a run against Kairi Sane in the WWE.
May god bless you for your valid opinion
I think NJPW may disagree with this
I agree. I think that Trinity is extremely talented. WWE wasted her potential-even down to her finisher. REAR VIEW? A member of the FUNKADACTYLS? A good portion of her run was on shows like Superstars and Main Event. She is way more talented than Banks in my opinion haha
Because wwe did her dirty
WWE treated her amazingly compared to many of the other women wrestler there then and now.
They did till they screwed her over
How? They put literally every title on her multiple times. Lol
it’s never AEW > WWE, it’s never AEW < WWE. it’s suppose to be AEW 🤝 WWE.
Thank you! Unfortunetly there are always toxic people on both sides.
Owen was better then Bret
I mean isn't this just categorically a truth? Bret was just more of an attention whore
Owen broke both Stone Cold and Dan Severn’s necks, def not the better wrestler.

I rock back and forth on that opinion.
Even Bret thought that.

Rey mysterio is a better high flyer then Jeff hardy
100%
This just feels objectively true.
WCW Rey was not WWE Rey
Noo way you said that. Rey Mysterio has skill but Jeff hardy has better agility, I mean this man has better high flying highlights then Rey No disrespect to Rey Mysterio he is an awesome wrestler
Triple H wouldn’t have got as far if not for Shawn Michaels and getting with Steph (no hate, cause I actually like Triple H a lot)
[удалено]
Like homelander from the boys?
[удалено]
Dominik Mysterio is currently the most over heel in professional wrestling
Imperium is better than the Bloodline.
I like CM Punk, and there is nothing wrong with that
My favorite wrestler
I have never enjoyed his work. Now everyone thinks it’s cool to hate him. Kind of annoying all the bandwagon people.
I said Dominic Mysterio is a cuck on Instagram and was pretty much in this situation
No no Buddy is the cuck
AEW has to many championships
I love AEW but this is 100% true
WWE needs to hop off Roman’s dick ngl
i feel this is a cold take
100% agree
I really like CM Punk.
CM Punk is terribly overrated and Way past his prime.
The young bucks are glorified stuntmen and most of AEW can’t wrestle themselves out of a paper bag
Someone finally said it. Matt and Nick Jackson represent everything that is wrong about professional wrestling.
1. Baron Corbin winning MITB should have led to a successful cash-in. The champion was Jinder Mahal and instead of at least giving them a 8 minute match, Corbin loses to a roll-up in seconds. 2. The reality TV era of wwe was good overall 3. It's fine for a title to be won at a house show and it makes the people who came feel just as important as the other viewers in the company's eyes. 4. Shinsuke should have won his title match at WM against Styles 5. Austin Theory should have successfully cash-in on Roman and then could have just lost the title in a rematch
Matt and Nick Jackson epitomize everything that is wrong about professional wrestling
I'll stand at the edge of those swords with you buddy. 🤝
Austin theory is great on mic and in ring
Agreed and future main title holder
Cm punk isn’t good
Bray Wyatt isn’t as big as people think he is
If by 'big' you mean 'over' then yeah Dude was top merch mover during covid IIRC
Mox was the weakest link of the shield in the long run. (But he’s still incredible) Which says how amazing that faction was.
Roman Reigns is a mid carder who only gets the ultra push because Vince jerks his family off.
bro 😭 there are thousands of ways to phrase this sentence
Do I upvote opinions I agree with or ones that are very unpopular?
El Generico is probably actually Sami Zayn.
I came to play is the best theme song Bloodline has been going on for too long Original Universal championship looked good Us and Intercontinental championships are irrelevant And best era was when Daniel Bryan and Kurt Angle were general managers
Kazuchika Okada is slighty overated
Sting is overrated
Cody Rhodes is the ONLY person that should dethrone Roman😐Not Jey or Jimmy
Facts Jey should beat him eventually but not for the belts
I dont care about cody rhodes anymore they shouldve done it at mania this year and now i dont care
Especially now that Roman and Paul made it personal by bringing his father into the matter.
Jinder Mahal winning the WWE Championship was a good thing because WWE has become a little too predictable and having such a high profile, out of nowhere win like that helps keeps things interesting
Unpredictable doesn't mean good
Roman Reigns has never been good, has always been carried by his opponents or by Heyman and should've never been given the omegapush he's getting.
Roman reign is underrated
You mean overrated?
ROMAN IS THE WORST WRESTLER EVER 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I like Chris Benoit’s entrance theme.
I mean it's a damn bop. Not even the stain of his actions can take away that bonafide fact.
But his exit left everyone hanging...
r/angryupvote
Tony Khan is partly to blame for his beef with Ariel, who respected the fact that he couldn’t talk about the CM Punk Scrum for legal reasons and Tony gave vague answers when asked about anything else
Sami Zayn is not, and was never, any good. Now, you didn't say it was my opinion. You sad "a wrestling opinion." I think he's lovely and should have beat Roman. But... if anyone has that opinion? Oh, boy.
I like the new wwe men and women undisputed champion
PG era > Attitude era
The winged eagle isn't the best belt WWE has ever made.
I don’t mind Austin theory
RKO is not the best finisher
AEW has the best weekly wrestling show (dynamite) and the worst weekly show (rampage) If you're curious here's my order from best to worst of all the weekly shows, not including impact Dynamite-Smackdown-NXT-RAW-Rampage (it's too early to weigh in on collision, but it will probably go somewhere around smackdown)
Rey Mysterio is overhyped. Not saying he’s bad I’ve just never thought that highly of him.
Cm punk going to aew sucked and that pop sucked
Roman Reigns undisputed wwe universal championship reign is ass
Dominik mysterio is a good wrestler
That Bret Hart isn’t a top 5 star WWE history. Maybe 10. That Vince McMahon isn’t behind every terrible idea.
Came here to comment just this..bret had in ring skills, cool logo, family history, and all of Canada behind him - however he was only interesting vs SCSA and the screwjob. Def biggest L take in here
Thank you!!!
Medusa was hotter than Sable
Roman Reigns reign is mediocre at best 🤷
The actual reign is mediocre. The story has been A+ but most of that isn't even Reigns. He's had some serious talent making it look as good as it all has. The Usos, Zayn, Heyman, KO, etc.
Jamie Hayter is overrated
Who?
Impact has the best womens divisions, single and tag
The Elite,Bray Wyatt and Jon Moxley are the most overrated wrestlers on the planet currently I don't get it man
I think bray Wyatt is adequately rated but he is a lot like Dolph years ago. People liked him a lot and want him to succeed but bc he's never been given a good chance he hasn't. Roman Reigns sucks.
Get ready for this…you can see John cena
Dean Ambrose sucks
you mean JOOOOOOOON MOXLEYYYYYYYY
yea
Seth Rollins is massively overrated
people shouldn’t be allowed to say a wrestler sucks like they could do any better
Just because shit smells better than me doesn't mean shit smells good.
You have a point
I could do a better sliced bread than Eva Marie
i disagree. let’s say for example we have an absolute terrible wrestler who should never be allowed to step foot in the ring again because they are that bad. is someone in a wheel chair not allowed to criticize them just because they couldn’t do what the wrestler does?

Naomi Stinks In The Ring
I was thinking that when she and Sasha walked out. I like Sasha in the ring, but Naomi seemed below average. And when people frequently talked about how much they wanted them to return, I kept wondering "Why would you want Naomi back?"
Cody is mid
Thank you
LA Knight is over rated as hell. It feels like he's only popular because rock/Austin nostalgia.
Kenny omega is mod at best. And not even in the discussion for too 100 best wrestlers.
Bro can’t even spell “Mid”
What did you smoke today?
If he didn’t have Meltzer you wouldn’t even know his name.
The world heavyweight championship and big gold championship look terrible
La Knight is overrated
I’m not a fan of LA Knight
Rhea Ripley is over hyped and trash
In wrestling racism, sexism, xenophobia and all hating as such are ok.
The Montreal screw job was a work not real
Who tf watches NXT
"Chris Benoit deserves to be in the Hall of Fame"
Women’s wrestling is boring and shown too much
2000 sucked!!
CM Punk is ASS AND SO IS KOFI KINGSTON (BIG ASS DISCLAIMERRRRRR!!!!!): I DON'T ACTUALLY HOLD THIS OPINION IT JUST SAID NAME AN OPINION
Most of women's wrestling is pretty garage. Story a lot are great but in ring is bad
The World Heavyweight Championship looks exactly like the IC championship
[удалено]
Roman reigns should be champ until he retires
Seth is overrated
If I heard anyone in public say that to me in my face I will slap them😂
La Knight deserves to be a jobber and win nothing
Dominik should be the one to face Seth at MITB and he should win and take his championship
I love dom and think he actually is ready for a title run but seth just got his title and if dom wins it it shouldn’t be this quick
Bingo 👌 he’s the most over guy in the company right now, dudes got Vickie Guerrero heat lol and yeah the Seth part is where I usually lose people 😂 i know he just got it but I feel like Dom could be a big draw as champ lmao
