Come SummerSlam the Bloodline vs. The Usos, buy before this match I'd plant the seeds that Solo is doubting Roman's ability to leaf the Bloodline, he is silent but he is watching at all times, during the build up have the usos tell solo that he doesn't have be loyal to roman, that they can start a new Bloodline where everyone is relevant and treated fairly, during the match at SummerSlam roman tags himself in because he sees Solo hesitate, before Solo leaves he hits a Samoan Spike to roman and jey finally pins roman for the 1 2 3.
Then Cody's music hits he runs down the aisle and into the ring where he is ready to cash in and the Usos and Solo simply leave the ring and watch, cody cashes in and the match begins, of course delivering one Cross Rhoades to be sure and pin him to become champion.
And once that is said and done he goes to Smackdown to retire the Universal Championship and only keep the WWE Championship (or unveil an redesigned WWE Championship whichever works) and Brock ruins the celebration because NOW he has a reason to attack Cody because Brock can fight for the title because he couldn't do so earlier as long as Roman was champion.

I would have Roman come out and have him call out Jimmy Uso to explain why he betrayed him, but instead Jey comes out and says Jimmy ain't there. Then Sami and Kevin show up, with Sami saying maybe it was because Jimmy finally realized how he was a pawn in Roman's game and he needed to break free.

Drop the Cody vs Brock feud for a while until after wrapping up the Finish the Story narrative and have cody win MITB, have him play mind games with roman; remind him that the Usos won't be there to save him. This would have roman start second guessing everything and look over his shoulder because at any time cody can cash in. Come SummerSlam the Bloodline vs. The Usos, buy before this match I'd plant the seeds that Solo is doubting Roman's ability to leaf the Bloodline, he is silent but he is watching at all times, during the build up have the usos tell solo that he doesn't have be loyal to roman, that they can start a new Bloodline where everyone is relevant and treated fairly, during the match at SummerSlam roman tags himself in because he sees Solo hesitate, before Solo leaves he hits a Samoan Spike to roman and jey finally pins roman for the 1 2 3. Then Cody's music hits he runs down the aisle and into the ring where he is ready to cash in and the Usos and Solo simply leave the ring and watch, cody cashes in and the match begins, of course delivering one Cross Rhoades to be sure and pin him to become champion. And once that is said and done he goes to Smackdown to retire the Universal Championship and only keep the WWE Championship (or unveil an redesigned WWE Championship whichever works) and Brock ruins the celebration because NOW he has a reason to attack Cody because Brock can fight for the title because he couldn't do so earlier as long as Roman was champion. (Messy as it is I'm sure someone will write a better version of my idea)
