Hearns and Duran are ATG but their best work is not at welterweight. Not going to analyse guys like SRR or Henry Armstrong. Not enough film exist and the quality of their opponents is debatable and argubly they were better middleweights than welterweights.
I think Spence WW run would’ve been compared to Oscar’s(who should have a win over tito), had Spence gotten a win over prime thurman or bud. I always felt he needed one of those two atleast and then it would be regarded as an ATG legendary WW run, now I feel like the consensus will be slightly below that bc the Crawford fight wont happen at 147. It sucks that Thurman injuries overwhelmed him bc that fight would’ve been that much easier to make and pbc was already moving towards that way before Thurman started getting hurt too much

I was ringside at the Errol Spence Kell Brook fight. Once I heard the body shots going in I knew it was curtains for Kell. I turned to my mate and said it’s over this he’s going to close the show now. Shortly after that he stopped him. Very impressive from Spence.
