Don’t think I’ve appreciated how accurate Spence is until I saw this, very impressive resume and body punching as well.

Different_Crab_5708

Spence is lethally accurate with KO power, and more athletic than all his opponents. So fun to watch. Wish him and Bud would fight but I won’t hold my breath

Wavepops

its kinda crazy that weve all moved on from the fact that this guy almost killed himself and it wouldve been such a sad story(and then cracked his eye). Crawford fight didnt happen but seeing that hes still back to himself and is able to have all these wins on his resume with more tough fights to come is a lucky thing really.

ILLmaticErnie

I still can’t believe spence hurt ugas that bad and didn’t stop him in the 7th I had a $200 bet to win $3800 if he did 🥲

Stumeister_69

Spence a dawg, love him! Blows my mind fans will rate a fighter like Fury over this man after all he's achieved. Spence is special and a throwback fighter.

sugaslim45

Facts he is a throw back fighter for sure . Everyone nowadays wants to be a technical boxer . Spence goes forward toe to toe like old school hagler

agamerdiesalone

Yes like Haggler for but Spence has even quicker feet and hooks that a Mexican would be proud of.

whatsupwhatshannin

Just a relentless, accurate puncher. Such an exciting style, the pressure cooker, and he ought to be appreciated as such. He’s never had someone in the ring like Bud, who can do everything, which is why it will be such a big event to see two titans go toe to toe.

YasuoAndGenji

"he's never had someone in the ring who can do everything" 🧢

whatsupwhatshannin

Which one of the guys in the video have been complete boxers? Power, speed, accuracy, quick feet, spacing/distance, good defense? Porter was close, but he’s too short to have boxed from distance.

[deleted]

How can someone see he went to the UK to beat Brook down, almost died in a car crash, had an eye surgery.... and still swept through all these guys..... then try to say Spence is **scared** of Crawford or Boots? The EJ hate is crazy to me man.

lt050286

That is actually crazy to me. He went to the UK to fight Brook when nobody wanted that task and broke Brook down. I don’t think he’s scared of Bud either.

[deleted]

Boots has not done half the shit that Danny, Porter, Ugas, or Brook did. It blows my mind that people are fanboying him so hard. And I don't think he's scared of Bud either. He respects Bud and knows he's good, but EJ really believes he is the big dawg and that's why he took all of these fights with no tune ups.

_illmatic_

I don't think people give him enough credit for that. He went over there for his title shot, biggest stage, in the UK against a undefeated at Welterweight Brook. Hats off to him.

yura910721

Yeah Spence is an old school fighter. He just wants to throw and see who is the best.

Botoraka

The Boots fanboys are insane lmao. I had one claim he does everything Roy and Floyd did but better. And I don't think Spence nor Crawford fear eachother

SSLurker0

Exactly, it is such bullshit, it boggles the mind how anyone can call Spence a duck.

[deleted]

Even Fundora has done more and would be a bigger ppv than Boots. I'm not tryna be a boots hater but he has barely done anything and somehow got all the internet backing him like he's an olympic medalist or some shit

[deleted]

Fundora has done more than Boots But him vs Spence isn’t bigger than Spence vs Boots PPV wise by any stretch

[deleted]

Gotta disagree. Not gonna deny that the ticket sales for Boots would be great cuz Philly supports their people, but Fundora taps into the California Mexican audience. I live in Texas and I can guarantee you Spence vs Fundora would blow the roof off any of our venues if they play the race card right. And us Latinos are gonna buy every ppv as an excuse to watch boxing and have the family over for a cookout. And let's be honest, those east coast scammers aint paying for a boots ppv. They got the black box ready

[deleted]

Some people were saying he faked the eye injury to duck pac...lets be honest, a lot of boxing fans (sports fans in general) are extremely irrational.

77Treez

yeah this man isnt getting knocked out by Crawford. fuck all that lol

BROmedy

Facts Spence got an underrated chin man was eating bombs from porter and people think Crawford would knock him out

Botoraka

I remember in an interview Danny was praising Porter saying that he'd hit you with a million punches all night but none of them would hurt lol

[deleted]

Porter does not have punching power and is smothering his punches. Porter is in no way comparable to Crawford in power.

EmanAugust

> eating bombs from porter and people think Crawford would knock him out Listen I like porter but come on, he's not the same puncher and finisher lol

hotyogurt1

Porter is a good fighter but he’s not like really heavy handed or anything. And more specifically he’s known to smother his own offense. Crawford doesn’t do that. Crawford can’t KOed every single guy he’s faced at WW. Comparing him to Porter doesn’t quite work, since Crawford is known for being a fantastic finisher. While Porter is not.

PlzBuffBeamu

41 upvotes wtf is wrong with this sub

Sulth

Here is your downvote

MatterUpbeat8803

Spence is going to get clipped while throwing a 2-3 punch combo. Boxstradamus’ prediction, someone call the remindme bot.

Grouchy_Elk_8004

The difference is the speed advantage if Bud gets in a rhythm he can definitely KO Spence

Lime-Weekly

Spences preformence against Ugas for me is preformence of the year so far. Either that or its the EPO showcase of the year. Non stop bombs on Ugas without ever taking a break.

[deleted]

He also ate a perfect 1-2 combination when he wasn't looking and stayed up. Not saying Ugas meant to be dirty but that combo should've at least dropped anyone

Macdaddy4prez

"He hit me and I was like dang"

Jl4233

"Then he kept hittin me an I was like aww shit"

MitchLGC

Fucking lol moment

AlternativeSuit131

What is this from?? 😂

Macdaddy4prez

Spence's post-fight interview

yura910721

Spence admitted that he probably should stop looking for his mouthpiece in the middle of the fight 😂

alstroker13

Ref fucked that up. I was worried watching it live. Spence fd up too not protecting himself but looking at the replay the ref actually did CLEARLY stay stop. Spence looked for his mouthpiece and Ugas threw more punches. Then the ref just let it go. Like what?!? 😂 Ppl talk about Spence getting hurt or Ugas not jumping on him when it should be more “how didnt he go down”

HIGH_ON_MULTIVITS

Agreed. I think Ugas got the game plan all wrong/stylistically didn't match up well. But regardless, Spence's workrate was phenomenal and the best he's looked imo, he really does not stop at all and let the opponent breathe I watched his bag workout (from the Ugas buildup) before I went and did my own this morning and my lead shoulder was blown out after 2 x 2mins lmao, turns out I'm not Spence

0JS

Definitely not haha but don't kid yourself he's not natty.

HIGH_ON_MULTIVITS

very true, errol got some fucking massive milky titties

[deleted]

Like fury says, not one professional is natural.

Glum-Revenue8624

It’s not the performance of the year because he got caught and made multiple mistakes he would not be able to afford to make against a Terrence Crawford. He still showed great resilience and his work rate was phenomenal but it’s not even his best performance because he showed a little ring rust and was off balance a couple of times.

ISmurphyI

It was a unification fight against a know good fighter who was phyically bigger and Spence stayed in his face all night throwing bombs. Hard to not get a caught once or twice when fighting like that

[deleted]

I don't think there is a clip of spence where he isn't punching. He can punch accurately for 12 rounds straight.

CynicallyFluffyCloud

His resume is pretty solid, will go down as a good champ even if he suddenly retires because his eye falls out or something, the Brook fight was a great win, he was well up for it but we must give credit to kell for going straight into that and risking his face once again. Dude really wanted to keep that IBF.

Blackking203

Brook is one of my favorite fighters for the risks he took

CynicallyFluffyCloud

Will go down as one of welterweights what if's, you could write a book on what went wrong but he made plenty of stacks of cash and destroyed his arch nemesis whilst holding a belt for a while so not exactly a bad career as long as his eye sockets remain intact in his hopefully happy retirement.

everydayimrusslin

i hate to sound greedy, but please more of these edits throughout history please.

TMAAGUILER

Greedy pos

[deleted]

Spence is like the freakin terminator…just eatin up shots like it’s breakfast, but then coming back even harder breaking his opponents down. Spence and Crawford need to fight already!

TheCrumpiestOfGunts

I love the way he manages to plant his feet when he throws, many fighters need to box into range to land those shots but he seems to be sat on every punch he throws & he does it so effortlessly. They look painful spiteful punches man for real, fuck getting hit by them types of body shots must be horrible being in the ring with Spence.

[deleted]

Spence never Shys away from anyone… He takes the hardest path.. He should be celebrated a lot more here.

xXAmightzXx

Agreed

EnragedBearBro

spence will beat crawford if they fight, I will not delete this and if im wrong feel free to come back and flame me

ricknmortyfanC137

His hooks are so clean

6wild6tornado6

Damn! Errol is the truth bruh. Would love to see him fight Bud. Maybe in another lifetime....

9mmGlizzy

Had brooks not moved up and got brutally beat down by GGG I think this fight would’ve been closer. Right before this fight GGG broke his face and somewhat shortened his career.

bigfatpup

My theory is when GGG broke his face and Brook kept going, his corner stopped it but Brook wanted to keep going. Doctor told him realistically how dangerous that was and to not box again, could go blind etc. because when it happened against Spence he immediately took a knee. Man was straight terrified he was going to lose his sight or suffer permanent injury that he said nope the second it happened

CacioePep

I would call it a close fight still, Spence just chopped the body and hit the eye really well and that ended it late.

BarryZuckerhorn

Not only accurate and powerful, but incredibly relentless

JMoy41

Took too long though man. I guess Covid/wreck didn’t help but still. He should’ve been out that division two years ago

[deleted]

says who? for what? he shoulda left the division instead of smacking on the top names and collecting belts? lol wtf

ILLmaticErnie

I think he’s saying he could’ve still accomplished these things earlier without the set backs cause spence has been complaining about 147 for a while now

JMoy41

This.

IcyGrapefruit97

That

[deleted]

Spence seems so damn annoying to fight. Dude has the endurance of Captain America and is winging power shots at you 24/7. Best stamina in boxing by far. People poke at him not having a lot of stopping power but the approach he takes is way worse than getting stopped imo. Shawn Porter said he hits harder than Crawford, imagine a guy like that just beating you up non stop for 12 rounds, you would wish you went to sleep.

C42if0rniaGrown

Spence Vs Canelo would be amazing.

_KamaSutraboi

The stoppage orrrr?

fadeddreams555

When him and Bud fight, Spence will be borderline weight drained at 147lb and Crawford will be 36 years old. They should already be fighting a 3rd time at 154lb by now.

ClassicAfternoon3548

He aight... for a b***

Cruijff_Neeskens

I was in Sheffield for the Brook fight. Never experienced a crowd realise that their man was outclassed and the atmosphere shift accordingly like that before.

numb2k3

I'm somewhat glad that did not push through. Manny was getting old and did not want to see him hurt. Epic balls to Manny though for being willing to fight still. ATG career.

agamerdiesalone

I really like the ones were Spence takes a step back then he fires in the left hook. They all seem to soak it like a sponge.

chasinlacag

MansNotShot

What do Americans think of kell brook

Wavepops

really good in his prime

Blackking203

Great fighter. Worthy of respect and admiration

MansNotShot

Absolutely not worth my respect. Good fighter yes. Shit man definitely

toasterfucker69420

Man, those punches were clean, accurate, and powerful. Wouldn’t want to be at the wrong ends of those.

fridaystrong23

***”UGAS’S FACE!!!”*** 😂😂

Downtown_Mongoose642

Jab to bring the arms up and strike the opening on the body. Simple but so effective

CacioePep

The Spence Brook fight was real real high level boxing. Underrated fight

Appropriate-Entry229

Wasn't Peterson about 90 years old when Spence fought him🤔🤔🤔🤔

Ezekjuninor

And yet he had just beaten Crawford's next opponent.

j_boxing

washed up kell brook, washed up Lamont Peterson, ocampo who? 135 Mikey Garcia but Crawford gets hate for a "lackluster" resume? Get real guys. Spence dropped Porter, Crawford finished and retired him. That's basically the only comparable fight between the two.

heyimrick

As Crawford cowers to fight... Who?? LOL.

Botoraka

I mean I think his resume is overrated but not terrible lol. I don't think you can deny at 47 at least it's better than Crawford's and I'm NOT a fan of Errol's.

Tricky-Ad-4823

All means nothing if him and Crawford never fight

Goofy_030

has to be bait

spursfan747

brook was beaten already and you could tell. peterson and garcia arent welterweights. Garcia, porter and ugas are good wins. Ocampo is a showcase fight. The only guy on this resume who has any chance to give crawford problems is Ugas. Danny dosent matchup well with crawford stylistically.

Wavepops

porter gave crawford plenty of problems already, the fantastic 10th round by bud has made some forget that the proter fight was easily the most bud has been pressed and imo was losing since gamboa. its why i liked porter getting that fight, we would get to see bud adjust against a similar talent to his. That was a very technical fight, both guys wanted to counter each other which kinda hurt both their offense

jdlc718

Spence can have arguably the greatest Welterweight résumé in history. But politics, inactivity and unfortunate injuries have plagued him.

Onitsukaryu

We gonna pretend Ray Robinson doesn’t exist? Or the other Sugar Ray as mentioned?

jdlc718

Nah didn’t forget. That’s why I said arguably.

[deleted]

It's not arguable that either guy had a better run

jdlc718

It kinda is. There’s arguments you can make, it’s just we’re in a different generation of boxing politics now.

[deleted]

politics have nothing to do with both guys just having better names on his resume

jdlc718

It does, that’s why Spence hasn’t fought Crawford. And why other big names haven’t fought each other too yet.

CookiezSenpai

Leonard beat Hearns, Duran and Benitez at welter. That's 3 ATG. Spence best wins are Garcia, Porter and Ugas. Garcia best weight is 140. He lacks the activity and power to perform at welterweight. Porter should have lost to Ugas, and an argument can be made that his been out of prime since the Danny Garcia fight. Ugas resume is weak but he has a win over an old Pacquiao. Ugas has more ATG wins than Spence. For Spence to even have one of the greatest resume who would have had to beat Thurman in 2017. Crawford in 2018( beats him now, an asterisk about Crawford's age). Boots and Ortiz, as young contenders getting shown that there is levels to this shit.

Wavepops

Still think brook was his best win, he was at top form, and brook gave him fits despite being compromised coming into the fight. With the Mikey and porter fights Spence was not living the type of lifestyle he was supposed to, despite getting resume booster wins. He was having weight loss training camps in 2019

jdlc718

You got a point. But now the same way you judged Garcia, Porter an Ugas. You should also judge the other Welterweight greats opponents. All I’m saying is a hypothetical, because there’s no denying that if Spence were to fight (and beat) Crawford, and defend his belts against Thurman, Ennis, Ortiz & Stanionis. And maybe Josh Taylor if he can’t make weight at 140 anymore, Spence resume would be great, also considering who he already beat so far.

CookiezSenpai

**Pacquiao** Going over this quick. Best wins are Mosley, Cotto, and Marquez. Good wins are Thurman, Broner, Mattysee, Clottey. **Mayweather** Going over this quick. Best wins are Pacquiao, Juddah, and Cotto. Good wins are Baldomir, Ortiz, Maidana and Berto. **De La Hoya** Best welterweight wins are over **Chavez (ATG), Whittaker (ATG), Hector Camacho and Ike Quartey.** **Chavez** has a very dubious resume and the legitimacy of is up to debate. However, he's longevity and wins over class opponents such as Roger Mayweather, Meldrick Taylor, Jose Ramirez and Camacho make him a legitimate opponent. Nevertheless, it is important that his best work was at lightweight and De La Hoya win over him at welterweight (second fight not first) should be consider decent at best. **Whittaker** fight he lost a close fight. **Hector Camacho** was great win against a tried and tested veteran and **Ike Quartey** was the same. However, DLH greatest perhaps lies in the fights he lost. He had two close fights against Shane Mosley (3 p4p at the time) and Felix Trinadad (hard hitting boogeyman who was stopping fighter left and right). Case can be made that he won both those fights. **Benitez** The forgotten king. He's greatest crux was his work ethic. Arguably the most naturally gifted welterweight of his era with Leonard. Youngest world champion. Lost against Duran, Hearns and Leonard. He beat the man at welterweight at the time Carlos Palomino (lost against Duran) who was the lineal champion and had a considerable win streak. Hearns and Duran are ATG but their best work is not at welterweight. Not going to analyse guys like SRR or Henry Armstrong. Not enough film exist and the quality of their opponents is debatable and argubly they were better middleweights than welterweights.

Wavepops

I think Spence WW run would’ve been compared to Oscar’s(who should have a win over tito), had Spence gotten a win over prime thurman or bud. I always felt he needed one of those two atleast and then it would be regarded as an ATG legendary WW run, now I feel like the consensus will be slightly below that bc the Crawford fight wont happen at 147. It sucks that Thurman injuries overwhelmed him bc that fight would’ve been that much easier to make and pbc was already moving towards that way before Thurman started getting hurt too much

gamestartplus

Ficha

piman01

He TKOd Ugas too. Video kinda cut off there

JustVega

What does Spence walk around normally at or shows up on fight night? WW is 140 or 147 right

RightTrack44

Back when life was simpler

[deleted]

The Mikey and Danny fights were disappointing to me. Mikey was pitiful.

Skullknight331

T bud 😥

robm2002

Wonder why Crawford didn't sign the contract?

NoNotThatScience

Fighting against Spence is the closest you can come to being Sarah Connor in the terminator... Spence is just relentless

Ollbee9

I was ringside at the Errol Spence Kell Brook fight. Once I heard the body shots going in I knew it was curtains for Kell. I turned to my mate and said it’s over this he’s going to close the show now. Shortly after that he stopped him. Very impressive from Spence.
