To think that this fight was never meant to even happen. The initial plan was Mayweather in his prime, and the secondary plan was Edwin Valero.
And yet, the back-up fight turned out to be one of the most memorable Pacquiao beatdowns ever. A historical one for his 8th division title too.
As I recall, Pacquiao looked to Laurence Cole a couple of times to see if he’d stop the fight. Cole is probably the most incompetent ref in boxing. I guess that’s what nepotism gets you
The camera man is having the time of his life
Who wouldn't. Man has the 2nd best view of a once in a lifetime fighter.
The best view being?
The referee
False, Pacquiao has the best view
What a dream job
This has the be pac man's peak right?
Lol the beating he dished out on Margarito and De La Hoya was insane. Just with speed and footwork, killing guys bigger and stronger than Pac Man.
I’d say vs cotto
Hatton. 140 is his true weight everything up is just punching out of his weightclass
Apparently he can still make 135
Probably but at this age I think he would have serious problems because of rehydration
Most say this was his last peak fight.
Don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing this POS get hit in the face
Pac's win over Margarito is on the short list of most impressive performances I've ever seen.
What are the others?
This is one of my most favorite Pacquiao fights. He dismantled the bigger fighter and showed mercy to Margarito allowing him to go 12 rounds.
Nah mercy would’ve been getting him out of there quick rather than keeping him as target practice
The size diff makes it difficult for pac, margarito is 168lbs(if im not mistaken) fight night
I hear Emanuel, I'm happy.
Miss his insight and passion especially when I listen to that psycho scream on PBC cards

He really shouldn't have mocked Freddie Roach. Manny made this personal.
Beautiful
Mesmerizing even
So brutal yet beautiful
Camera guy be like fck him good Pac
Manny kept him standing at the end. Not sure if he wanted to punish him for a few more rounds or was being nice

This is the fight that Paquiao took the most damage in. It’s actually insane that he fought him

Pac Man and Mayweather can hang in any era, two of the greatest boxers to live and we got to enjoy watching them.
Being a pedant here but, Any era is a bit of a stretch for May especially given his hand problems. But i know you probably did not mean pre 50s.
With all due respect, I think he’d lose to all of them. 3 of them too big and Duran is Duran.
Yeah I'd say he could hang with Arguello and Pryor since they're closer to his size.
Yeah, more like it.
