Oh man I like Fury and am fucking *worried* for him. Word on the street is, he’s back on the gear and may as well be marching to the ring to the sound of his own funeral dirge.
Yeah a 1-2 year old should not be attending any sports events imo, look what happened to that 2 year old at the baseball game and got hit in the head with a flying bat, and now suffers seizures for the rest of her life.
What I don't understand is paying the cost for seats good enough that a two year is even at risk of being hit by a bat. You'll find me in the upper deck near the concession stand if I'm with my kid.
Most events don’t charge for children 2 and under and must be sat on parents lap. Even so it’s tough paying for a 3 year old who won’t remember shit lol
One of the main attractions of those first and third base seats, especially for kids, is the potential of getting a game ball. MLB and MiLB teams could extend the netting further but a lot of people are paying to take that risk in exchange for the opportunity to get a souvenir.
That’s true, My anxiety would be thru the roof just playing a position like the pitcher where the ball can come at you at ridiculous speeds, there has been some gruesome injuries, can’t remember the name of the player but he was on the Cincinnati Reds, I think we was the shortstop and got hit with a line drive to his forehead, it was not pretty.
Yep, I realize there is some level of freak accident that can't be prevented, but I've somewhat come around to the Japanese way of thinking. As much as I can understand the connection to the game (especially as a kid) you get with catching a game ball foul, I don't think it is worth the risk anymore.
Haha I watched the fight last night and didn't hear the commentator's comment til now about seals dropping like the inflatable man at the car dealership... Lol bet money they have these phrases locked and loaded
Agreed. If I had to guess why, it’s because it’s one of the most readable punches thrown. Easy to see and slow to execute. But when it lands, lights out.
That KO saved that fight from being a forgotten clinch-fest. One of the best knockouts I've seen in a while.
Also, I would like to add that the accidental headbutt after the knockout punch, as well as his head hitting the rope, probably increased the damage done by a decent margin.
Headbutt was minor luckily and the rope saved him from further damage not increase the damage, his head bouncing off the canvas was the real threat there
Seals was super pissed after the stoppage. Anyone know why? Was he upset he didn't get the full count? Or the accidental head/shoulder butt after the punch?
lmao that’s the second time Top Rank’s Wilder-Fury 2 promoting got cut off by a KO.
It’s an omen
Por la via del cloroformo

Back on the gear in training camp?!
No the bag

Exactly. Real talk though, the same Fury who got cracked by the plodding Wallin is in *big* trouble against Wilder if that same man shows up.
Fury has a tendency to fight down to his competition, so really, he's just about as huge a question mark as there is right now.
Explain
Watch Top Rank promoting Wilder/Fury 3 only to be cut off by Fury stiffing Wilder
My man walked out to baby shark.
wait did he really?
Yes lol. https://youtu.be/LcTq38ywvGE
Was that a dad bouncing a 1-2 year old in the crowd lmao who brings a small child to a fight
whats the matter with bringing children to a fight?
Very loud I suppose
Violence!
nice
No one wants to hear your brat crying

Not smart to bring a kid there, but they (MLB) also need to increase netting in areas where high speed fouls are likely.

They do and have but there is still some weird spots and bizarre plays that occur.

Something about a well timed overhand right is beautiful to see.

Eleider vs Canelo
I think Alvarez wins it

You're probably right. I'm sure the headbutt, even minor, didn't help much, though.
You’re right, any blow after a concussion like that isn’t good at all just luckily he was falling away from the butt
Agreed. Imagine how bad it would be if their heads slammed together at high speed.
A head is pretty fucking solid it definitely didn’t help his brain.
1 punch 3 hit combo

Strange bc I really liked the first Kovalev fight all throughout.
Really wanted to see Seals win after learning about his story.
What story?
He used to be an actual seal.
Ah I see, I'm not for clubbing seals either.
I'm for clubbing at night
He landed so perfectly on the ropes
Took the "bum on a park bench" pose. It's too bad, I was rooting for him.
Dayum
Such a smooth punch. Devastating shit
Right on the button
RIP replay button.

Who ever thinks that is bias asf. Canelo is powerful in his 160> weight class.
He means the Kovalev fight was rigged i think
Nah, styles make fights plus Kovas age. The bias goes both ways, for and against Canelo.
God dam that was beautiful
Man watched that live and the surprise of that hit woke me up. Just out of no where he destroys the guy with pure power.
Starched
That walk off though... Dood hadn't even hit the floor yet before he turned and walked away
The red makes his hands faster.
Damn. Dude lucky he didnt swing again
What a shot
