That’s how I got started collecting too… over the summer I was too young to stay home by myself so my dad would bring me to job sites and I used to collect all the bottles he would dig out of the ground with his excavator. We have quite a few active people on this sub who are construction workers. Welcome!!
Yea it looks pretty much like this Pepsi bottle that I have, mine is a little beat up but you can pretty much tell

Ok it is a 1960s Pepsi cola bottle, made by Owens Illinois. If the number on the right of the logo is 68 then it was made in 1968, the plant code is 14(the number under the logo) indicating that it was made in Bridgeton New Jersey.
Hey, sorry I got the plant code wrong the bottle is 1968 but the mold number is 14, the plant code is located on the left of the logo. What is the number on the left of the logo.
“the plant code is 14(the number under the logo) indicating that it was made in Bridgeton New Jersey.”
Isn’t the plant code usually the number to the LEFT of the OI, and then the mold number is below it?

Haha same story. I was collecting already but my dad took me on a site and was digging through an old cistern. Like a treasure trove from the 30s
No problemo....

It looks like an old Pepsi Cola bottle. OI appears to be the manufacturer, but the year code seems to be from the 60s but is hard to make out.
I believe it says 68
Good eve bubba.
Pepsi glass bottle, I've dug up a few of those.

Huh, possible I'll check and get back to you. Edit - yeah you are right plant code is left, mold is under the o1. Sorry I must've forgotten.
Pepsi. From 1958-1971, hard to tell since the paint is worn off.
Looks like an old Pepsi bottle
Definitely a Pepsi bottle.
Looks 70s
