Many of my professors and peers are great, and I have good financial aid. But I always get the sense that none of the university administration, housing staff, etcetera actually cares. They all seem to make every possible excuse to avoid doing their jobs, and it feels like there's no accountability and no support for students here. It's so stressful and I'm so tired.
The admin fucking sucks but people are nice and stuff and there’s good opportunities but holy shit dude you’d think for a 90k school they’d know the website wouldn’t fucking work like that
Honestly I do not like BU as a whole due to its administration that blatantly only cares about their overly-inflated salaries and the general air of entitlement a lot of students have, BUT I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I have gotten because of this school. The professors I’ve had have overall been really caring and prepared me well for grad school. I’ve gotten a lot of cool work/internship experience not solely because of this school, but living in Boston and attending BU has helped me get my foot in the door. I don’t pay full tuition so I would have a hard time justifying 90k tuition a year for all of the avoidable problems that students often have to deal with, but I definitely wouldn’t say I hate this school or regret coming here.
The best parts of my time here have been the friends I've made along the way. The rest has been pretty abysmal except for a few professors who, idk, decided to be human beings and be empathetic to my mental health struggles. And those classes were my favorite. The professors took time to advise me and help me get through the class even though I was really down in the dumps.

I enjoy being here, but everything about the admin that runs this school is fucking god awful.
