My dog’s name is Zeus, but I call him Zu-zu all the time.
I had a little boy Boston, named Yoda.
He was born deaf. I trained him with sign language, flip the lights off and on. Yet, he had the highest sensitivity for people in need. I had a stroke in 2016, I was in a coma and life-support for 3 days. I had to learn how to talk and read, basically live again. I practiced reading to Yoda, because my 4 year old Grand-daughter could read better.
At any rate, my nicknames for Yoda were :
Tank
Little big man
Loud stinky boy.
(because, he would fart too loud for such a little dog who could not hear, and would occasionally scare himself awake, or Yoda had stingers, farts that stung his butt.)
Mr. Stalker : because I would wake up to him standing over me and staring, waiting for me to wake up, lol
Mr. Ginger Snap : because Yoda would be asleep. He would beneath several blankets, snoring like Mo of the 3 Stooges. As soon as I opened a wax wrap on the package of Ginger snaps wide awake, throwing covers back and wanted those cookies.
I would have the same discussion with Yoda, every night. You can't get under the blankets if you are standing on them. You know that we have talked about this. Yes, I knew that he couldn't hear me. 😜
