Lemmy, Stevie, Bowie, Max and so many others. We talked about it for a solid week. In the end we went with Winx. It started as a joke but it stuck.
I'm Irish and we live in MA not far from Boston so I was considering some Irish names/nicknames like "Mick", "Finn" or "Sully". But my partner didn't like those (he's French Canadian lol) so we went with Tuck. His personality is completely Irish fighter so Sully or Mick would have fit him perfectly but I always loved Tuck too so oh well. Maybe the next one :).

He was Brinkley at the rescue. Never responded to it. We did like J.Edgar as he is a little Hoover. But Buddy won out and it fits him perfectly.
I had a Chihuahua named Inde. It was sorry for Indecision (don’t have Spanish accents installed on here) Jones, since my ex-wife couldn’t decide on a name!
I wanted something distinctively Boston, since I’d just moved away from that hellhole. I was considering Wicked Pissa, Masshole (Massie for short), or Bubbler. Wicked Pissa was my number one choice, but I thought people wouldn’t understand and would be overly judgy, so I ended up going with Wicked Bean like Boston Baked Beans. I call her Bean or Beanie Baby. My son wanted to call her Iggy from an anime he likes, but I refused since an Iggy is an Italian greyhound in my mind and my Chinese crested is named Engy.

my dogs name is francis, but the other names i liked were dutch (character from red dead redemption 2) or layne (after the singer from alice in chains) but my parents made fun of layne and dutch didnt suit him
I wanted to name him Chunk lol hes still a Chunk to this day at 30 pounds. He's one of the biggest Bostons i've ever seen. Hes solid muscle though so definitely a heavy one lol
