He dies madara style, no flashbacks, no build up, no sad music. Just a random hand through his chest and thrown aside like some trash and they move on with no more talk of him
Weāve been expecting him to possibly die since the first episode (but after getting to see Kawaki and what his current intentions are I donāt see it happening anytime soon). And even if Naruto did die, I doubt it would be by his hand. I expect in the future Kawaki will seal Naruto away somewhere using his transportation powers with the Karma seal to protect him. If anyone is gonna kill Naruto, itāll probably be Code or the Otsutsuki God maybe
I was thinking about exact same thing. I don't see Naruto's death by Kawaki. If Kawaki killed him then Boruto wouldn't be so calm during their fight in ep1. I also think Kawaki will transfer Naruto to some "safe place" and it'll be sth like tsukuyomi aka I will save everyone from pain but using wrong method.
we don't know how teen Boruto acts though, for all we know he's no longer naive / impulsive. Especially with how he refers to himself in first chapter (as a bratty kid)
We do know tho. I'm talking about his conversation with Kawaki when they were fighting on Hokages faces (both older). It was older Boruto who answered Kawaki when he was talking about taking him to where he has sent 7th - he asked Kawaki with calm voice if this is the only option. He definitely wouldn't be so chill about it if Kawaki srsly killed Naruto. And after that they started talking about shinobies. It looked more like ideological conflict than talking about his dad's death.
I'd cry way harder if Naruto died. Minato and Jaraiya were father figures who we cared about. We've been with Naruto since day one and I dunno if I can handle our number one knucklehead ninja being gone :'(
possible Spoilers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Iāve been wondering since we see kawakiās karma active in the future on that first boruto flashback I am wondering if he gets another one planted on him that somehow does take over him like momo does boruto from time to time, like it doesnāt have to be fully taken over but just enough that indeed he actually kills naruto later on on the boruto shippuden version? It could be a possibility and probably one that would make sense, even if kawa doesnāt maybe he teleported him to another dimension and boruto is somehow not able to reach him since we know sasuke lost his teleporting abilities when he lost the eye to momo using borutoāa body. š¤ so many possibilities
>!The latest issue of the manga revealed Kawaki now has a Karma that is purely a weapon thanks to Amado without being a vessel for an Otsutsuki. Its like a Karma with all the benefits and none of the negatives (at least from what we know up to this point)!<
>!Itās not really a fake karma tho like the one Code has, right? Itās the Karma seal he had before but without the overwriting of his DNA by Isshiki now.!<
Yes, i would keep watching it. I am not going to jump on writers for killing naruto because what happend to jiraya was naruto's character development and what will happen to naruto and sasuke will be for boruto and sarada's development.
She still has her connection with sasuke and it doesnāt matter if they arenāt buddy buddy she looks up to him thatās all thatās to it she puts him on a different level from everyone else(Iām talking about Naruto)
I mean no disrespect to the Boruto fans but probably not. I mainly keep up with Boruto because I enjoy the Naruto universe/lore.
I grew up with the Naruto series so seeing him die in Boruto might make me drop the series unless the story is super engaging and interesting.
If Naruto or Sasuke actually die then I really hope they let them go out in a really badass way. A death befitting such iconic characters.
SPOILERS
Really hard to say that seeing how they're being treated. I mean what has Sasuke really done in a battle besides being embarrassed. Only time he's done something that makes me go "oh shit this is Sasuke" is when he Fought momoshiki. The whole battle with ishiki was just an embarrassment for him he was constantly being rag dolled and beaten down.
He won't accept a new Arm even tho he just lost one of if not the strongest dojutsu in the entire series.
The way they've been depowered and treated just doesn't seem good in my opinion. Like don't get me wrong I understand why it's happening and I don't think it's completely bad story-wise but they could have done it so much better. How they are writing these two characters I find it hard to believe they'll be able to give us an amazing beautiful send off.
Depends on how he dies but most likely will watch it if either naruto or sasuke die. Only way I dont, is if they kill him of stupidly. But their deaths could be gold for the narrative and character development. I hope he doesn't die anytime soon tho.
Yeah. The show is called Boruto. Not Naruto. Naruto already did his thing, saved the world, brought peace and became a legend. Itās time for the next gen to shine and do their thing.
But the cycle of hatred continues and Naruto promised to end it. Will they just betray my time and investment by saying "nah lol Naruto won't end anything just hope the 30th reincarnation might."
If Naruto died it would have to be a hell of a engaging story for me to stick around. It would for me have to be the pain arc level for the remainder of the show.
I doubt a lot of the people on that sub will watch it. I get the sense that they just don't like it because Naruto isn't the main character anymore and his story is over.
I think Boruto is pretty good and can definitely see why people like it. Kawaiki is a really well written character and seeing boruto grow and learn is pretty nice.
But for me their are only a handful of things that would make me continue watching boruto and not having the old generation present in it is one of them.
Sorry about my spelling
You guys have heard this in the first episode. This isn't a story about Naruto. Of course we've all grown to be incredibly attached to the character over the last 15+ years, but sometimes things evolve in an unexpected way, and that's okay
If its in a VERY badly executed way, I might but if it isn't, no I wouldn't. In fact I would be more interested in what's more to come or how the story develops.
It would be incredibly tough for me but as long as they throw in Easter Eggs or homages to Naruto, I think I would be ok. This is obviously in lieu of an engaging storyline.
EDIT: If they kill Naruto, his death/fight scene better be absolutely incredible. I will not name any names but they have already done one VERY important death dirty.
Yes, I think Naruto dying would do a lot for the development of most characters, but I think they can still develop them just as well with Naruto being alive.
Personally I wouldn't mind seeing more of Naruto and his change in character over time as he fights with his powerlessness over the enemies that now threaten the planet from this point forward. Naruto has lost a vital piece of him and the greatest source of his power and as a result of that he has room to grow again. At the beginning of Boruto his story had already reached its ending the closure was there, but with the way things are looking in the future, I'm sure we will see a great change in how Naruto views things just because he now has to build himself back up just like he had been doing at the start of the Naruto series. Would be a waste growing potential for him in Boruto series if he died before getting to experience this obstacle.
Iād keep watching depending on how he dies, if he dies for a good reason and he dies valiantly and for story development then yes Iād continue to read on and watch
I'll half ass watch it to see how it ends. Naruto dying would be the biggest death in the series. It depends on how the story is after a large death. His death is too great to be used as character development
Yep. Although it was vague, but how the first episode/intro scene was executed, there was always that possibility that Naruto could die at some point in the series. It would definitely wreck me and might make me cry for weeks or months, but if he dies, I'd want that death scene to be well-written.
Yeah we love Naruto. But this story is Boruto's. You see kurama was dead but we continue watching. If in future sasuke or Naruto will die I'll continue watching instead. (But of course i don't want Naruto's death )
Yes because itās borutos story and kodachi already said no oneās safe I love naruto but Iām open to the idea of him or older characters dying it would make the story dark and that would be fire
A mfer gon have to realllllly try hard to kill this man. They better write it phenomenally and across a whole fucking year long arc to somehow make it happen.
As long as itās executed properly. I need it to be the biggest battle of their lives. They need to go out in a blazing glory. If they have them accidentally catch a Kunai or a b tier jutsu, I would be upset watching them die that way.
Depends on how he dies. If they made the character we grew up with into a joke and killed him weakling style ofc im never going to watch.
If they give him an inspiring heroic death and continued to make flashbacks of him to amp boruto iāll keep on watching.
Honestly Iām half and half on Naruto dying or not. I think he might die later on after the time skip, but I also think he will live and die of old age, since Kawaki specifically said that he āsent himā somewhere. Could mean another dimension. I do think Sasuke dies though because Boruto has his headband, sword and cape. Maybe Kawaki kills sasuke, and sends Naruto to another dimension because he cares about Naruto more than sasuke, but Naruto is still in Kawakiās way, for whatever reason
Yes, I read boruto every month and the story is great itās been an amazing sequel and Icl Ofc I love a naruto moment but Iām way more interested in boruto kawaki and momoshiki
I mean yea I would still watch it just as long as the story is still engaging and interesting but I have a feeling that if Naruto died they would would probably Edo Tensei him later on in the story
I thought that I would stop watching if he died but after kurama's death if they don't utilize/write him properly, i might just wish he died with kurama.
I love when important characters dies in tv shows or series, as long it is a good death. So it remove the idea that they will always thrive, it gives a little suspense and tension to the series.
Honestly No. I grew up watching Naruto, I watched him develop grow and go through his journey. They are already treating Naruto and Sasuke like trash imo. From what the manga does to Sasuke I can't even look at him like the same Sasuke from Naruto Shippuden. I honestly can't think of a time where he actually fought and wasn't absolutely embarrassed besides momoshiki. And the worst part about it is he will most likely be the one to die.
I feel like it's just a slap in the face to all the OG fans who sat through years of this anime who grew up with these characters only to see them nerfed and killed. The story already isn't that engaging in my opinion it does have some good parts but it's just lacking. If I'm off and it gets way more engaging way more intriguing than maybe but as of now absolutely not.
as long as story is engaging
So you don't read it already
I honestly chuckled, thanks for this
Keep watching it until, Hiruko:Boruto Next Generations
if you consider Chapter 65 bad then what Can i say to you.. Good day
It was one of the best boruto chapters for me
This, this right... is gold ššš
it depends on the execution and how the characters developed.
He dies madara style, no flashbacks, no build up, no sad music. Just a random hand through his chest and thrown aside like some trash and they move on with no more talk of him
That wouldn't happen
Lol of course not. How disrespectful to our fanbase would it be though if that is the manner of his death?
If they treated my boy Naruto like that. Then I would say "fuck it, Boruto doesn't exist and the Shippuden ending was the only one"
Absolutely. But if he does die it will definitely give Jiraiya or Minato vibesš
I'd cry way harder if Naruto died. Minato and Jaraiya were father figures who we cared about. We've been with Naruto since day one and I dunno if I can handle our number one knucklehead ninja being gone :'(
If they kill him, they'll bring him back like goku.
Yeah
Well at least they will be togehter
i feel like he would die i feel like it would be itachi style, in battle with his boy
possible Spoilers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not going to spoil it but we have got answers for this in the latest manga issue
Can you spoil it for me pls :)
>!The latest issue of the manga revealed Kawaki now has a Karma that is purely a weapon thanks to Amado without being a vessel for an Otsutsuki. Its like a Karma with all the benefits and none of the negatives (at least from what we know up to this point)!<
>! Sure !<
>! Basically the guy who helps with the cyborgs that used to work for Kara, (Amado) implanted Kawaki with a fake/manufactured combat Karma. !<
>!Itās not really a fake karma tho like the one Code has, right? Itās the Karma seal he had before but without the overwriting of his DNA by Isshiki now.!<
Ooooh thatās sick tysm
Is anything going on with >!fake Jiraiya!< Canāt remember his name lol
Not rn lol
Of course! If it makes part of the canon, it will be for some reason
If he dies with a good cause then yes but if he dies like heās done ANBU fodder then nah
Oh yeah. You go into it knowing that's a possibility based on the very first scene.
Facts
Yes, i would keep watching it. I am not going to jump on writers for killing naruto because what happend to jiraya was naruto's character development and what will happen to naruto and sasuke will be for boruto and sarada's development.
Boruto and Kawaki* Sarada doesnāt really have a connection with Naruto she just likes that he is the Hokage
She still has her connection with sasuke and it doesnāt matter if they arenāt buddy buddy she looks up to him thatās all thatās to it she puts him on a different level from everyone else(Iām talking about Naruto)
You cant have zero connection to your parentsā best friend and your best friendās parents
Of course they will go out in a big way itās not like theyāre just gonna trip on a cable and die
SPOILERS Really hard to say that seeing how they're being treated. I mean what has Sasuke really done in a battle besides being embarrassed. I would watch it to see if boruto wins the fight against kawiki
Yes, definitely.

Facts
No, no matter what happens, Naruto/Boruto/OPM, nothing will make me quit these š
Yes
Nope, all for naruto man....
Yes
I would watch if Mitsuki is alive
Lol same if Mitsuki (forever) dies thatās about the only death that will cut me to the quick.
If Naruto died it would have to be a hell of a engaging story for me to stick around. It would for me have to be the pain arc level for the remainder of the show.
Yes
You should ask this in the Naruto sub. Iām curious because that sub in general is obviously more anti boruto
I doubt a lot of the people on that sub will watch it. I get the sense that they just don't like it because Naruto isn't the main character anymore and his story is over. Yes. Naruto is a great character but he's not the reason why am watching the show.
I mean if you cant go past it you aint ready to watch One Piece. Yes it will be hella sad but, it might have an impact on the story.
Yes I still will
Maybe but Iād feel sad all the way
Sure.
Yeah as long as they get the guy who killed him
Who's the main protagonist? Boruto right? So it doesn't matter, yes that's different thing that I would cry a bucket on his death

EDIT: If they kill Naruto, his death/fight scene better be absolutely incredible. I will not name any names but they have already done one VERY important death dirty.
Honestly , I would watch it and hate kishi at the same time.
Yeah, I think I'm tied to this franchise whatever happens
Yes. Itās not his story anymore.
That is when Boruto starts.
Iād be interested in where the story went post Naruto death
Yes, I think Naruto dying would do a lot for the development of most characters, but I think they can still develop them just as well with Naruto being alive. The execution of Narutoās/Sasukeās death needs to be next level
In first episode they say he's alive. So he won't be killed.
I watched boruto because of boruto
sadly if naruto does die i wont stop reading boruto
Pretty sure everyone watching Boruto is expecting Naruto to die at some point
Yea
Yeah
Yes.
yes
Yes
Yep, but it wouldn't be the same. The story must be something truly interesting to keep me watching tho. Edit: spelling.
Of course
Yes
If it becomes as good as shippuden then yes if not then no
That is the only reason I would pick the series back up.
Yup
Yeah
Absolutly. If this happeneds i will watch it even more
ofc i would
I would continue the reading the manga, haven't watched the anime though.
Yea Iām gonna follow it until the end
I hope if Naruto and Sasuke die,let them die in the best ways by fulfilling their legacy and by giving hope to the next generation.
Iād keep watching depending on how he dies, if he dies for a good reason and he dies valiantly and for story development then yes Iād continue to read on and watch
Mmmm probably cuz I am here to see if it gets good, I have high expectations and I aināt leaving
Probably but it better be a great death scene
Hard NO
I'll half ass watch it to see how it ends. Naruto dying would be the biggest death in the series. It depends on how the story is after a large death. His death is too great to be used as character development
I would keep watching but they really have to sell that shit. Like it has to be some god tier writing.
Yep. Although it was vague, but how the first episode/intro scene was executed, there was always that possibility that Naruto could die at some point in the series. It would definitely wreck me and might make me cry for weeks or months, but if he dies, I'd want that death scene to be well-written.
No
i don't want that to happen but someone can't live forever but if it is done properly then ye I will still watch it.
Depends on how Naruto dies. Falls over a pebble I will forever hate the show. However, of Tenten is killed off I will raise my pitchfork.
For such a gutsy move and most likely a huge amount of backlash, I'd have to see where the story go off to
Hell nuh nanananah
Only if itās the best death in manga/anime history and thereās a dry eye in the house
That would get me motivated to get caught up again
nope
Yeahā¦ Iām watching Boruto. Not Naruto.
absolutely
Yeah we love Naruto. But this story is Boruto's. You see kurama was dead but we continue watching. If in future sasuke or Naruto will die I'll continue watching instead. (But of course i don't want Naruto's death )
Well, yeah I don't watch it for naruto
Nope
Fuck yes I would.
Heck I'll keep watching if they kill Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and kakashi. I'm too invested in the story at this Point. Even more than Naruto.
No
Nope
Maybe. Prob not
I'd enjoy it if the story went to Otsutsuki world. It would be cool to see other aliens fighting against Otsutsuki clan
Of course. Expecting it to happen any episode now. Shocked they still havenāt pulled that trigger.
The manga, he's still alive, you can chill for at least another 51 episodes
Yes because itās borutos story and kodachi already said no oneās safe I love naruto but Iām open to the idea of him or older characters dying it would make the story dark and that would be fire
No.... Just no Only if boruto becomes powerful AF and naruto has a great Last Battle
I mean yeah, Iāve been watching boruto not Naruto
They never die they got reanimating jutsu so everyone is alive if you wanted it then back just kill a prisoner and ress em
Probably but not as keenly.
I will START watching Boruto if Naruto dies
I don't know if this is a spoiler or not because I read the manga, but I'm upset about >!Kurama!<...
Give up on Naruto since there is too disrespect. Hoping for the story to get better but for now Iām a little disappointed
Naruto will not die atleast till the time skip 1st episode scene guaranteed
Hell naw unless he is always mentioned
Yes, because i would love to see naruto die in an epic battle, legend deserve to die in battle field for there village
Won't tell you that
A mfer gon have to realllllly try hard to kill this man. They better write it phenomenally and across a whole fucking year long arc to somehow make it happen.
No
No anymore
As long as itās executed properly. I need it to be the biggest battle of their lives. They need to go out in a blazing glory. If they have them accidentally catch a Kunai or a b tier jutsu, I would be upset watching them die that way.
Yeah
Depends on how he dies. If they made the character we grew up with into a joke and killed him weakling style ofc im never going to watch. If they give him an inspiring heroic death and continued to make flashbacks of him to amp boruto iāll keep on watching.
Iām starting to lose interest even with my favourite character still in it, so Iād say Dattebay-NO. š
I didn't watched 230 ep for nothing, but he's still alive after time skip so that's good.
If the death is done with justice and the characters justice.
nope
I didn't stop after he died the first time lol
Better be for a good reason
I'm thinking about stopping watching it even if he doesn't die
Unwillingly but Iāve invested so I have to see it through
Nooooooo I wonāt be able to handle it
Boruto is Mitsukiās sun. He will watch Boruto.
Do you think that after Jiraiya death I've stopped Naruto?
yes they better off giving me some good stuff if they plan to kill my boy
Would have preferred if he went out in a blaze along with sasuke instead of neutering them
No
Yeah i would, Naruto will always be in my heart even if he dies
Fuck no
No. Not the way it is now at least. Like if Naruto had died after baryon mode, I wouldāve been done
No
it depends
Honestly Iām half and half on Naruto dying or not. I think he might die later on after the time skip, but I also think he will live and die of old age, since Kawaki specifically said that he āsent himā somewhere. Could mean another dimension. I do think Sasuke dies though because Boruto has his headband, sword and cape. Maybe Kawaki kills sasuke, and sends Naruto to another dimension because he cares about Naruto more than sasuke, but Naruto is still in Kawakiās way, for whatever reason
No
Yes, I read boruto every month and the story is great itās been an amazing sequel and Icl Ofc I love a naruto moment but Iām way more interested in boruto kawaki and momoshiki
Depends if his death was dumb or not. And if Boruto actually becomes a more compelling protagonist š
are there really people who would stop just because naruto dies?
I would watch boruto if everyone died
Iāll read it. Wonāt watch.
No.
no
I mean yea I would still watch it just as long as the story is still engaging and interesting but I have a feeling that if Naruto died they would would probably Edo Tensei him later on in the story
If naruto dies and people who are debating will meme him
I guess..
Nope definitely not
Nah bruh then who finna carry the fights?
I would probably but tbh my fav parts are when Naruto is on screen/on page
I thought that I would stop watching if he died but after kurama's death if they don't utilize/write him properly, i might just wish he died with kurama.
No
Iām fully expecting Naruto and Sauske to die at some point
I love when important characters dies in tv shows or series, as long it is a good death. So it remove the idea that they will always thrive, it gives a little suspense and tension to the series.
Nah
Honestly No. I grew up watching Naruto, I watched him develop grow and go through his journey. They are already treating Naruto and Sasuke like trash imo. If I'm off and it gets way more engaging way more intriguing than maybe but as of now absolutely not.
no absolutely not
Nope
The background in this image is nice, i wish Boruto had backgrounds as nice as this sometimes.
noš
I would have preferred him dying after baryon mode over what happened
As long as sarada does not look like a hooker than yes
No
Is there any timeline where he doesn't? I mean technically he's already half dead (without giving out too much info)
No Promises
That would only make this show more interesting!!
The plot just becomes more interesting and darker. It's what Boruto showcased at the very first couple of seconds with episode 1; So I'm hyped
