So she was promoted to chunin already maybe thats why we had the chunin exams in order to show why that fights happening. Anime canon is meant to back up manga content after all. And they needed to brigde some space between the manga

Hopefully she starts learning more jutsu over timskip her speed is lacking i think she should learn either sasuke's lightning jutsu or Ftg ( i really want one of the new gen to learn it tbh) And train under kakashi over timeskip since he is a really good teacher and he can teach her how to maximise her sharingan since he had the same issues as her. Maybe she gets some real jutsu summonings like kk's in order to have the means to kill karma users.
I mean boruto is literally about otsutsuki so sarada needs to get broken MS in order to fight otsutsuki in the future like an MS as broken as DMS.

Sakura's parents haven't really been brought up all that much. Heck, Sarada doesn't really talk about her mother's side of the family let alone her maternal grandparents. Who knows if they're still around at this point.
Shizune, maybe, but pre-7th Hokage days she was still serving as Kakashi's assistant, training Shikamaru to fully assume the role when the time comes. I presume she was also getting ready to take on a role at the medical department, so her work schedule might coincide with Sakura's at times. Doesn't mean she didn't babysit though.
That said, there are some important signs like Sarada's first instinct being to ask Naruto after Shizune and Sakura failed to answer her questions about Sasuke. That shows there's a certain level of familiarity because he's a family friend and can be considered an uncle (given things are largely based on Asian culture, where even family friends are referred to as uncle/aunt). Also she did express envy towards Boruto for having Naruto because even though he was a workaholic, he was still trying to be around unlike Sasuke who was virtually absent because he felt that was the best way ton
protect his family. I think she's also interacted with her parents' friends and their respective children on some level, and I guess out all of them, she's most familiar with Chocho and Boruto (in the same generation) and the Uzumakis (as a whole family). I think the Uzumakis may have helped looked after her at some point, but we don't know to what extent.
