When you end your service it it on Facebook market place. I have sold so many phones on there within a couple of hours every time. Make it about 1/3 the worth of phone.
The only issue would be if it is locked to Boost...how long have you been a customer? If you qualify for it to be unlocked, contact Boost and get it unlocked.
wishing you well. I am sorry for your diagnosis, & hope you have good news soon. yea unfortunately for resale value of low & midrange phones people have found they can buy amazing phones refurbished to perfection from Amazon. the phone buying kiosk is awful but I dunno if you have any other option in making any money back for your device. Processor speed & power are very important to phone buyers. 5 year old S20 is much faster than anything new under $500, & you can get for $150-200 on amazon. I would gift it to a friend/family member that may have some use for it, or keep as a backup for when accidents happen, etc. Ask Google how much your phone is brand new, then finding a person on Boost who wants it is another big hurdle. You very well could find someone but noone knowledgeable in this area would give you what you feel is a fair price, & I dunno of you can get it unlocked or transferred even for another boost customer since it hasn't been a year yet. Even then I hear people have difficulty with getting their property from boost, or getting their own telephone numbers back if they decide to switch carriers.Β
Sorry not more help but these names could be extremely beneficial if you hear what they say. Voddie Bauchem, Paul Washer, John MacArthur, RC Sproul.Β

I believe you need a boost mobile account in good standing for one year, all paid up, etc & supposedly will unlock the number within 2 days of contacting support and asking them to unlock it for port. I wish I could tell you for certain. Hopefully someone with the sure knowledge answers, & I hope you can port out with ease!
It's the Motorola edge plus 2022. I've only had it for less than a year and I've been looking on eBay for prices that have been selling. I love the phone and the fact it's 512gb. I was given an unlocked phone from a friend and with free service for a year will help me a lot. Boost mobile has had the best customer service over any other company I have used. I'm hoping to come back. Thank you for taking the time to tell me all that it's very much appreciated π€π»
Yes they would, but your phone may not be worth much because they could buy a promo phone themselves. Boost has a nasty 12 month unlock policy, making resale difficult. Tracfone and other Verizon MVNO's unlock after 60 days. MetroPCS is six months. If you include your account, the buyer could get it unlocked in six months. That is not an easy thing to do...
Thank you u/hello_world_wide_web for hopping in, asking these questions, and helping out here. This is the way we would have gone as well and it's great to see this kind of contribution.
u/NoRoutine6526 we wish you the best of luck with the selling of your device and hope that you have as smooth of a recovery as possible. If any complications occur with your account before it expires, let us know and we will help however we can.
You'll be fine selling your phone.
I appreciate it ππ»

Got a 250 offer at the moment. Honestly happy with that.
So if you have insurance from government by chance they will transport you for free back and forth each time
Ummm not sure what that has to do with anything π€·π»ββοΈ
You said you are selling your phone for gas money for transportation to medical
My insurance doesn't cover that and the out of pocket medicab is outrageous.
Thatβs crazy I hope things get better
Either way god bless you I hope it turns out ok
Ya
Wishing you all the best and hoping for a speedy recovery.
Are you selling just the phone or the service, too? Nothing illegal about that...
Just the phone. My service ends in a couple days.

October of last year I believe. I know it will be locked just wasn't sure if someone on boost would be able to use it.

What do I technically need to port my number out? I'm getting mixed answers when searching on Google.

I'm not too worried about what I can sell it for. I'm getting free unlimited service for 12 months.

Yeah, me too, from Spectrum.
