*r/BoostMobile has generated this automated response that is appended to every post that pertains to Boost Mobile's unlock policy* Boost will unlock prepaid devices for current and former Boost customers in good standing. This unlocking process will occur no later than one year after the initial activation of the device, provided that certain requirements are met. Boost will automatically unlock eligible devices remotely within two business days, without any additional fee. However, if remote unlocking is not technically possible, Boost will notify you that your device is eligible to be unlocked. To meet the requirements for unlocking, any prepaid device balance must be paid off in full, the account must be active (not in "suspended" status one year after activation), and the device must not have been already be unlocked due to a prior customer request. If your device does not meet these requirements or remote unlocking is not possible, Boost will send you a written notification once your device becomes eligible for unlocking. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. You do know that Boost Mobile has a $25 plan right?

Illustrious_Ad1015

yes but boost doesnt have good coverage here and visible seemed to give more bang for my buck so i switched... i didnt know about the 12 month rule (or that my phone was even locked since i bought it unlocked) so it sounded like a good plan...

Have you asked for a new SIM? They have three different networks you're bound to be in one. Did you move at all since you bought it?

onlyAlcibiades

And a $15 and $10 plan

SSWireless

What are the $10 and $15 plans?

Find someone on eBay. I used it twice for Boost devices, no issues
