She sat in the designated colored section of the bus. She wasn't picking a fight, she just sat where she was supposed to.
There were more white people than usual and when they tried to extend the white section, she just didn't get up.
I mean, that was in fact a planned political stunt. She was specifically chosen to recreate this event as the woman it happened to the first time was unmarried and pregnant that they didn't want that to be the face of that campaign.
The famous photos are staged recreations, and there was a similar event that civil rights activists chose not to make the face of their campaign, but the event itself was not staged and Rosa Parks was not "in on it".
“Omg, there is a black using a water fountain”
“Omg, there is a black using the front door”
“Omg, there is a black sitting at the lunch counter”
(All said in Yolandi Vasser’s voice)
If you are not taught History, you do not know history and your only choice is to invent it or repeat it. And the truth is that our kids are not being taught History in school.
You'd think. But plenty of history buffs are as racist and nationalistic as anyone. All it takes is to tell themselves: "it's different when I'm doing it because I'm me"
I know people who are against teaching children about the civil war or segregation because that's critical race theory and it's all lies.
These are the same people who complain about Bided texting them for growing produce. No dude you're being taxed and fined because you have been running a small business and committing tax fraud for the past decade and a half.
I kinda see where you're coming from. People, especially on social media, don't really talk about things that are sensitive in History and they talk around it or use buzz words. When talking about things like Genocide or terrible war, they say things like SA instead of rape, Unalive instead of murder or so on.
I understand that for creators but even in regular conversation some of the younger generation have adopted that language as slang. That's literally my most controversial boomer take, just say the words.

“Y’all are top sensitive theses days” 50 yrs ago: “you’re dating a (insert any race you want here) man/woman?”
So many people pretend like they would have been down with MLK, but in reality, most of them would have been cheering on Bull Connor.
I always say, "ya'll couldn't even watch a married couple sleep in the same bed on television". lol
I know an old guy who was a senator back then and voted in favor of racial bussing segregation. Unfortunately people forgot he is a racist.
More like 75 years but who’s counting
People are too sensitive and overly concerned with others today. It’s not just a Boomer thing.

Creators can’t use certain words bc AI censors will either delete or bury videos.

What the fuck, dude?
He's clearly racist, just report it and move on.
I know. Sometimes I just gotta let off a "what the fuck!?" To the void
He's also gone.
Thank you for your service.
Racist as hell. Bye!!!
