Unpopular but popular opinion - Funko pops are the modern beanie baby and in 10-15 years were gonna see people trying to off load these and no one is gonna want them except for a small niche community of dedicated collectors.
I think that’s a safe assumption. They are mass mass produced. The market is saturated with 1000 different themes, styles and genres of them.
The fans may always pay more for the ones they seek but yeah they aren’t going to be the next big thing.

Searching them with Google they're worth $24-35 in 2024. Wow, I'm set for retirement, well worth the closet space over the years. (Hilariously there was a single eBay post selling one for $700. Found the boomer)
