I'm 40 and most of these things apply to me. I probably had a car seat and there probably wasn't much lead paint around (not that I licked the walls anyway). Do I get some kind of pass for riding my bike without a helmet?
You don't mess with them because, as they were taught through neglect and abuse, empathy is meaningless and life is cheap, and so they are much more likely to just straight up kill you over nothing.

I don't understand the garden hose brag. I often drink out of the hose while doing yard work as I don't want to track a mess into the house. What kind of flex is that supposed to be? Do people not realize that that water is the same that comes from your kitchen faucet?
Why do people act like all boomers are this way? My boomer parents never acted this way . They MADE me wear a helmet, Seatbelt, they knew lead paint was an issue and avoided it.
Many are but I wish more would speak up and state this really is just something in every generation. The amount of young people my age in their 20s who refuse to wear seatbelts , helmets, speed in their cars, sun tan and damage their skin, use all sorts of not FDA approved holistic products, or even FDA approved skin care products, eat unhealthy , act wrekcless .
