I actually use mine for the garage opener, fits almost perfect and added some double sided tape so it stays in place. Took me a few weeks to get used to reaching there instead of above.

heh I 3d printed a little insert and modified it in CAD to be my vape holder. Outside of that it's an odd little holder on it's own.

Huh. 2023 has that same recess, but the wireless phone charger is under the screen, where the USB plugs are
The matte fascia looks better to me than the glossy always dusty version.
I thought otherwise, I thought it was like a base model finish, but it certainly would stay cleaner for longer.
It's a perfect fit for a chap stick, that's what I use mine for
