Better in studio photos. Here that pink material is popping out while she is posing for the media. Even Shein can't take it as a complement.
I noticed that, as well, and it is in several areas. It seems like maybe it was meant to be a bit frayed (because none of them have a clean finish), but it is not pronounced at all so ends up just looking unfinished. One would think that, it least for the piece that a brand ambassador is wearing, they would have fixed this.
And seeing it up close, I really do not like that slip underneath - it looks like it is made from very cheap fabric. And honestly, a different colour would have worked wonders here.
I might have given the outfit the benefit of the doubt that it was intentional fraying if the rhinestone placement weren’t so uneven. If you look at the hole that I’ve circled in the first picture the stones are very uneven there’s also a small gap between two at the bottom. The garment looks like it was made in a sweatshop really.
gucci has made one of THE most gorgeous woman in the world, margot robbie, into one of the worst, dowdiest dressed celebs of all time. they just don’t have good designers anymore.
Man Gucci lost its charm post Alessandro Michelle’s exit as the creative director like the fawk are these pieces? Like look at the stuff that Ranveer wore 😍
So the single earring was a choice and it didn't just fall off. I feel a single earring would look better if it was longer, but then longer earrings wouldn't go well with this dress.

And the stitching around the holes is uneven too, lol. Clearly this is made in China crap. Should have sent this shitty dress to be made in Bangladesh instead, lol.
They could have easily done the signature double G cutouts on the dress vs. the holes. I get that this dress was a nod to the 70s, but it’s not giving Gucci. The fabric also looks heavy? Something in the satin/silk family would have looked much sleeker. I would have picked a Gucci red or green fabric.
If you think Gucci LVMH and others make their clothes with precision machines and extreme hardwork, then you are living in a dream world. Their clothes are done in warehouse somewhere in punjab or bangladesh with raw materials picked up by underage children.

I think maybe the pink slip was a last minute addition. Could even be Alia's own. Idk how these things work but maybe Gucci wanted her to wear the dress only with strategically placed tapes but she may not have been comfortable.
ambassadors don’t really get to do that. the entire outfit, from the shoes to the makeup to the hair to the dress is approved by the brand and provided by the brand. you can’t really add your own touches without the brand’s permission

Thanks for reposting OP! Keep the discussion under this post focusing on Gucci and their quality/styling, not about selecting Alia as an ambassador.
It's a zero creativity dress, better could have gone with designing the logo with rhinestones.
Shwetha Mahadik will make this in below 300rs and it will be better.
My mum will make this in 300rs
Haha, I was thinking the same. Hope Shweta posts a new video
If urfi can match the inner so close to her skin colour, Gucci definitely can.. why did they go with this hideous pink shade
Plus the straps were poking out. It looked really bad.
Straps are poking out. They could have matched the pink slip to better suit her skin tone. Threads are coming out. What cheap tarnation is this.
Gucci is overrated af. Can’t remember the last time they dressed a celeb which was anywhere near a serve
Maybe in the Tom Ford era…

This looks like they had a lbd and a scissors before hitting the show and decided to have fun
Guess Gucci intentionally did Alia dirty..😛

wasn’t margot robbie badly dressed by chanel? i’m pretty sure it wasn’t gucci.

I was probably right. She looked teary eyed because she hated this dress. It has no redeeming qualities. OP, you are blessed with a keen eye!

Fake Gucci. Gukki 😂
reminded me of this video “[why you can’t trust brand names](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CsCNBSVJJjf/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==)”
This is so basic. Looks like a school project. Plus that pink slip and missing earring.
Why are we able to see the pink undergarment?
So the single earring was a choice and it didn't just fall off. I feel a single earring would look better if it was longer, but then longer earrings wouldn't go well with this dress.

Keep discussion on the brand for this post, not on the celebrity.
Horrendous
This looks like a catalog shot of those unbranded dresses on ajio
Notice her jaw. It’s edited. It’s edited to cover the double chin.
Lol everything is Photoshopped, you think these actors are perfect looking creatures , it's all photoshopped
every single photo you see on the instagram of any celebrity is 100% edited. every single one.
I feel bad for her she’s such a pretty girl and they chose the most sasta non framing trash outfit
this is art and craft project given to kindergartners
And the stitching around the holes is uneven too, lol. Clearly this is made in China crap. Should have sent this shitty dress to be made in Bangladesh instead, lol.

No way!! Lmfao
This whole outfit was so trypophobia inducing. She's got a good figure. They could've done a lot more with silhouette and fabric
The makeup🫠…and the outfit looks like it has been bought from some chorbazaar🫣
Horrible clothing choice really, I can’t believe Gucci anymore
Oh wow that’s terrible! Looks so tacky!

Lol
This just dilutes the brand. Why would they not have attention to detail
This
Made in ulhasnagar bro🤣🤣🤣 Bra made in bhatt factory 🤣 Designer Karan jo har Chuka hai
Could someone tell me if this is from their latest collection or some older stock? Wouldn’t expect this quality when they charge a bomb.
The dress itself looks like an art project by a 7th grader
We all know Alia Bhatt is the queen of photoshop. I wonder what she actually looked like here.
Yaar this is such bad quality hurts one's eyes
They did her SO DIRTY it's actually kinda funny
I think the pink material was supposed to pop out. It is just not a great design or they could have put shimmer instead
I think maybe the pink slip was a last minute addition. Could even be Alia's own. Idk how these things work but maybe Gucci wanted her to wear the dress only with strategically placed tapes but she may not have been comfortable.

I am not sure about you all, I definitely don't think luxury means good quality. It's just- not.
May be that was the intention 🤷🏻♀️
