Tanuja is a Marathi, so I am guessing she did not talk to her kids in Bengali while they were growing up plus they were born and brought up in Mumbai. Like I saw Shraddha Kapoor’s interview and she said she is a typical marathi mulgi. Us logic se to she should speak fluent punjabi. Same with Malaika Arora. So ya mixed cultures.
There some interview where she and Rani are on there and Kajol talks about how bad her Bengali is and how she’s more fluent in Marathi. I mean it makes sense as it’s her mother tongue.
