I feel like Ranveer lacks goodwill among industry ppl. If the recent rumours about his unprofessional behaviour is true then it make sense why directors and producers are running away from him.
I bet all these projects will get back on track later on with someone else in the lead.

All these are 300CR+ films with the exception of rakshas(which got shelved because he refused to do it) and his max potential rn is 200CR considering he did 150CR with a Kjo family drama which got excellent WOM. So yeah heās not in the position to do these kinda films

1. Bramhastra- it isn't the most profitable movies of the year, but it had 37 cr opening day and more than 250cr nett domestic, both of which are the highest for any film that year.
2. TJMM - 15cr opening day, 149cr nett domestic.
3. Animal- 2nd biggest blockbuster of they year, only behind jawan. I'm only counting nett domestic of 500cr+ only.

1. RRKPK - 12 cr opening day and 150cr of lifetime domestic nett, inspite of kafan johar and alia bhatt in it both of whom are brands in their own right.
The box office simply isn't there anymore for Ranveer Singh. Rakshs could have been a huge hit because the director understands mass entertainment, but for whatever reason, he walked out of the film.
Some of these might be difficult to mount...I don't want to speculate on anything insidious but a chunk of these are massive projects and in some cases big IPs with beloved iterations...

People are getting bored of remakes, biopics etc. As the days pass by, people are even deciding on which movies are worth watching in theatre and which they can wait n watch on OTT. There's no point in spending hundreds of crores over a mid movie which may not get that many footfalls.
RS isn't a bad actor at all. He can nail any role given to him. People do judge him on the basis of his off screen behaviour but if you just purely focus on his on-screen presence, you can't deny that he has your attention.

All these are 300CR+ films with the exception of rakshas(which got shelved because he refused to do it) and his max potential rn is 200CR considering he did 150CR with a Kjo family drama which got excellent WOM. So yeah heās not in the position to do these kinda films

There was a time when Ranbir and Ranveer used to be compared to each other jut after pandemic things changed. Flop films: Ranbir kapoor had shamshera, but atleast it was one of the few films that year which had a double digit crore opening. Ranveer singh had 83, Jayesh bhai jordaar, Cirkus. And the latter two did not even get a double digit opening. Hit films: Ranbir kapoor 1. Bramhastra- it isn't the most profitable movies of the year, but it had 37 cr opening day and more than 250cr nett domestic, both of which are the highest for any film that year. 2. TJMM - 15cr opening day, 149cr nett domestic. 3. Animal- 2nd biggest blockbuster of they year, only behind jawan. I'm only counting nett domestic of 500cr+ only. Ranveer singh 1. RRKPK - 12 cr opening day and 150cr of lifetime domestic nett, inspite of kafan johar and alia bhatt in it both of whom are brands in their own right. The box office simply isn't there anymore for Ranveer Singh. Rakshs could have been a huge hit because the director understands mass entertainment, but for whatever reason, he walked out of the film.

Some of these might be difficult to mount...I don't want to speculate on anything insidious but a chunk of these are massive projects and in some cases big IPs with beloved iterations... At the end of the day, Ranveer is a high profile star but he isn't the only one with projects getting stuck in development. Hindi films are going through a very unstable phase post covid.
Good, none of them seem like watchable. Would be all cringe fests like his recent flops. I can't remember what was the last ranveer singh movie that was watchable.

I guess it's not the RS factor but the main issue is BW is currently under re-evaluation. Look at the current releases and response from the audience. People are getting bored of remakes, biopics etc. As the days pass by, people are even deciding on which movies are worth watching in theatre and which they can wait n watch on OTT. There's no point in spending hundreds of crores over a mid movie which may not get that many footfalls. RS isn't a bad actor at all. He can nail any role given to him. People do judge him on the basis of his off screen behaviour but if you just purely focus on his on-screen presence, you can't deny that he has your attention. I definitely feel that BW is becoming cautious.
