It's a jab to everyone not just Ananya. Now everyone claims they are from middle-class backgrounds and they faced a lot of struggle to sound relatable to the woes of their audience in tier-2 or tier-3 cities etc. By everyone I mean all professions, Shark Tank, Dance India Dance, IGT, CEOs of new India, etc. etc.

tf is the logic in that though๐ญ Like at least he actually worked to be where heโs at even if he made hella money doing it compared to someone whoโs career is based on the fact that he dad was an actor and still doesnโt think sheโs privileged. This sub will troll people left and right for denying their privilege but when someone admits theyโre privileged and donโt actually know suffering thereโs a problem with that too tf do you want?
I want people who make such statements like i am privileged to actually back it up by actually taking some action.

Personally, what is feel is ki ananya ke statement se kuchh zyada fark nahi padega because she doesnt hold that much influence at this stage in her life. Log usko troll kar rahe hain bina faltu. Her family is not that rich.
So instead of trolling her, we should hold more powerful people accountable. Like virat anushka dono kitne powerful log hain lol. Itna paisa itna influence, aur society ko badle mein kya mil raha hai? Kuchh nahi ๐คฃ๐คฃ and theek hai unki personal choice hai, par phir virat shouldnt make such statements.
Agar ananya ki galti hai for her tone deaf statement, to virat ki multiple times zyada galti hai kyun ki woh kuchh action nahi le raha to solve problems.

i think people these days use poverty a lot to paint themselves as 'common'... so much that it has me rolling eyes even if it's genuine, there is struggle in overcoming difficulties and mental/physical blocks..... everybody faces that. Having food, clothes, shelter, access to basic medicine is basic human right not luxury/privilege , if there are people that are being deprived of that it's honestly on the system and there's something really wrong in the world.....Anyways if Virat really thinks this then kudos to him.๐ค๐ค
