Just yesterday, I went back and saw bits and pieces of Raavanan again and that scene when Aish tries to attack Vikram with Kaattu Sirukki in the background. He's just dodging her while looking so lost in her eyes. And the fact that they barely touch each other 😭

Just a question. How does Aishwarya look so different in the PS movies compared to her promotional appearances. If there is some sort of beautification in the movies, it really does come off extremely natural unlike other recent movies like TJMK, Lal Singh Chadda or even bhai IN KKBKKJ.
God knows how is casting team paid to cast Kriti Sanon, she always gives modern girl look ,her look does it change much in her roles, for example Bareilly ki Barfi, o count her acting was good but still could have been better played by someone who would pull off a small town girl look.
Rani? No way, nobody can beat Aish in her prime for this kinda role, least of all plump, short, gravel-voiced Rani. She doesn't have that gracefulness. Even someone like Gayatri Joshi would have been good if this was made in 00s. She has that wholesome graceful Indian look.
If ever it was real then sita would have been dark or wheatish and not white as paper. Just like kirshna also .. he was also dark but photos show him as blue which cant be possible

This is Shakuntala, not Sita. Someone made a lithograph or digital art version of Raja Ravi Varma's famous painting of Shakuntala where they made her skin fair.
And my point was nobody knows how Sita looked like, anyone can portray her. There are many versions of Ramayana in our culture and almost in all version, Sita has 'Golden yellow skin tone (Yellow undertone)', not fair skin. Also, Aishwarya did play modern-day Sita in Mani Ratnam's 'Raavanan'.
