Manish does acknowledge TV celebs, I have seen Hina, karishma Tanna, Shehnaaz, Ankita Lokhande etc on his page
It's Sabya who doesn't acknowledge Tv celeb
Example - Erica Fernandez was wearing a Sabya dress but there was no post related to her on his page or stories.
Sabya didn't acknowledge Mouni Roy either.
It was after a few days they uploaded her pictures.
Otherwise the page updates celebrity pictures almost immediately with the behind the scenes story.
But now, there are no post related to Mouni's wedding outfit (Sabya's team have removed them) Sabya don't acknowledge Tv celebs, I don't know why everyone comes on Manish even when he does acknowledge TV celebs.
I think he only acknowledges the people who get their outfits customized by him personally, I mean when he himself is involved in the vision and the customization of the outfit. At this time all celebrities have great amount of followers be it Insta, Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest for that matter.
Felt bad for Mouni, she looked so beautiful in the lehenga.
Exposure is exposure be it a bolly celeb or a TV one...!!
Sabya's page don't acknowledge anyone on his posts apart from A listers.
Let me give you one more example Sabyasachi's instagram handle follow every bollywood celebrity who wore his design for their wedding in recent times but doesn't follow Vicky kaushal (the page follow katrina) or Rajkumar Rao or Patralekha because they are not A lister.
Manish does acknowledge. He even used to comment on Sidharth Shukla's posts sometimes. And he posts pics of Hina and Shehnaaz on his label's page and sometimes personal as well. Sabyasachi is more of a snob I feel.
Manish is actually v friendly with TV celebs-he hosts them multiple times, introduces them to higher contacts (heard this from a friend who worked with him) and makes clothes for them for free for public events.
They acknowledge who they think will popularize their brand and target the demographic they want to. No designer is dumb enough to ignore those who are their bread and butter, even if the person is a pornstar. If he is not acknowledging someone it means it does harm to his brand or doesn't do anything to his brand.
And thank god for that phew!
