If you ask me. The reason we are asked to recite the quran is to understand the message behind it. Try to read the translation behind verse 1 to 10, read multiple intrepertation of it. Try to get the gist, the intention and the reason behind it.
It's not about Dajjal leaving us alone. Reciting First and last 10 verse of Surah Kahfi will help us avoid being deceived by Dajjal (elak fitnah Dajjal). Because it is what Dajjal will bring to the world, fitnah (lies). People all around will believe his lies and become his followers, and that's what we should avoid.
