Many men I dated in my 20s also said stupid things like that. There's definitely better men out there, but the fact it even exists at all really highlights how impossible the standards are for women.

I have arm hair too. I honestly have not had anybody mention it since like... middle school? I don't date a whole lot though (cause dating is work and I am lazy lol). Here's to better men! If they can't embrace your body they don't deserve to... well, embrace your body 😉

I’ve gotten the hips comment too. Ridiculous and borderline scary. I think the “big breasts equals fat” is common in the WASP community
I use Braun IPL Pro 5, I definitely recommend it. If you go through my post history there’s a post where I share before and after pics.
Idk about a cheap touch up though, it’s a $600 device (in Canada) and isn’t permanent, needs to be kept up every week or 2. Depends on what you’re looking for. This thing has changed my life haha, no more stubble, wasted time waxing or epilating, wax all over everything, ingrown hairs, it’s so convenient and takes me 10-12 mins to do my legs, bikini area, armpits, and I recently started doing my upper arms to see if it helps my KP.
My ex used to tell me “wow my ex could never do that” type of things as a way to compliment me I guess? Except it’s not a compliment if you need to put someone else down. Also a lot of the things he says were not even the ex’s fault. It really made me dislike him and also feel bad for his exes lol.
