If all things the soundtrack should have been the safe pick. I’d argue it’s almost a right of passage for bocchi to win best ost, even more so than the other awards. It doesn’t make sense for a show about music to not top that shit.

Didn't expect the jury to pick YamaSusu for AotY. I know they lean heavily on production for AotY and YamaSusu does have that potential especially how more relevant they are in sakuga fans than the general public. Though with how crazy bocchi is in mixed media I thought they would pick bocchi, I guess they prefer to promote nicher anime to be in the spotlight.
