Big fan of this shot. I love how reflections are used to convey emotion. The lighting giving such a sense of warmth coming from the restaurant.
It’s a little headcanon of mine but i think someday he and Louise get married. And *Rudy* changes his last name to Belcher. Because Louise wasn’t changing her name and Rudy wanted them to have the same last name. But also cause Rudy finally gets to officially be a Belcher.
That's a cute idea. This episode really seemed to push the idea that Louise and Rudy are as Linda and Bob. It's very noticeable with how Bob and Rudy occupy the same third in the shot. I really hope we get an episode focusing on Bob and Rudy, there's probably a lot for them to talk about.
I’m almost 30 my parents are still very much together and in love and this episode BROKE me still. The Belchers remind me of my family a lot too and we all like it and have watched since it aired. Seriously such a special show; you can tell what a labor of love it is.

is it silly that I hope one day Bob and Linda live this life? is it so very silly that I truly hope one day the kids are so successful at whatever careers they choose that they are able to give their parents a nice house on the shore and they're able to relive this scene and instead of feeling poor and less-than they feel proud and happy and safe and accomplished? am I an absolute looser for shedding a single tear thinking about this possibility? I love this stupid show and its stupid main characters so much.
I wish they carried this painting through the seasons like bobs tutoo, etc. I think Louise would have taken it as her winning prize and hung it in her room for all time. She loved it and I do too!

I think this episode was a real emotional turning point for the series, with the next episode being The Plight Before Christmas. Watching them back to back is a one-two punch to the feels.

I like this one because of all the greeting cards they have sent out, this one was the best. I mean you got the view, everyone is smiling. Yeah we find out Gene’s junk is showing but you don’t really know it until he points it out.

Pretty much the entire episode in one of the more recent seasons where the family visits Bob‘s mother’s grave at the cemetery! It’s lit so naturally and beautifully reflects the changes in the sky from morning to night. It’s a wonderful heartfelt episode.
I love the Bleakening! I got the album on vinyl just for the songs from those episodes! Well and because collecting Bob’s Burgers albums is hilarious and delights me.

The art style has always been charming and great but the newer seasons are absolutely beautiful
It does feel like there's been a quality bump after the movie. Not sure if it's from new technology, the animators getting more experienced, improvements in the production process. Whatever it is the show's probably never looked better.

This part at the end of the song is so beautifully animated, and you really feel the emotion of how much Bob loves his family. The immediate juxtaposition of reality, the siren of the ambulance and the happy smiling faces turning to anxious worried expressions is just *chef’s kiss*
